Denny fixed an amazing breakfast before we headed to Mexico. It was a fun day. We had our pedicures done upstairs at Elegance. We ate upstairs out on the upper deck. Panchos were great! Before heading home we went thru stores that Matt said he had the same stuff that he looked at in 2019. After we got home kane and I rode with Bruce to Boca Cica t surf fish, The others washed the rental car and came out to Starbase. At home we played Monopoly deal.
I was up and cut the bread for Megs get together.. i went to play pb until 9 when I could get the key to het boogie boards for the beach. We had a wonderful breakfast at lobo del mar. The to isla blanka intil 1 when we drove to the main drag. Joes oystrr bar yum!!! Back for a quick shower and enjoyed the time at Megs!! We visited with bruce gail and Nancy
Up for devo. We took Nancy to wound care Dr @. 1:30.. jean went with us. On the way home Namcy volunteered to buy suppee and so we got church chicken. So good.
Up for shower coffee, devo. About 11 we decorated the table. I went to sit in the sun. About 3 we headed to SPI, we sat on the benches before we headed to the candle light service. We sat in the fellowship/overflow room. When we got home we went to Reals firepit. Nice visiting and music.
I was up and ready for the day. Denny, not so much ...... we went to church late, but it was fine. Then to Isla blanca beach for a couple hours. At home Denny started the meat smoking the other 3 came and Nancy got T shirts for us. Great day!!!
I took sisters phone call with Nancy. Coffee snd donuts. I played PB for a while. Christmas eve for Jensens, I was sitting out in sun on our deck over noon hour.
I was up showered and devo It sprinkled as Denny fixed breakfast. We took Nancy to the podiatrist. The Dr said her leg was infected close to the bone, if the bone becomes infected she could lose her leg.. She has choices, the boot is hard to put on/ wear, the boot will help infection stop. It would be hard to lose her leg. Back at the park there was a jam session at Gene and Carla's. Then we picked up Kathy. And went to the Brownsville Historical Museum from 5-7. Nice night.
Amazing... Denny left about 6:15 AM to go fishing. Now that's a big deal!!! I leisurely got up and visited with Nancy before heading to Black Friday Deals then to SPI.I stopped and looked at a couple shops then made my way to Port Isabel to meet the fishermen for lunch (Plus wives that didn't go). From there I went to the beach for a nap, I sent a Merry Christmas from the beach to my Thursday Study. After the beach I went to a couple of thrift stores and a couple of expensive stores. I love to look around. At home we were out on the deck until the mosquitos got to us. Denny and I joined Sheri, Glen, John, Donna, Marty, Kathy, Gary, Mary, Dave, Joanna,Kit. Lupe, At DQ. Nice.
I was up and playing PB by 8. Knee kinda hurts, Lord, keep it doing well. I am wearing shoes with insoles and praying that my foot pain heals itself. We'll see. Gail and I went to Black Friday Deals and I spent $25 at $2 an item. Uffda!! Treasures, treasures and then some. I played in the dirt when I got home and filled soil blocks and put in lisianthus seeds, about 100. Lord, let 'em grow. I started listening to a book about Elan M. Denny cleaned. Now to go and pick up Nancy at the airport. We had guac and marg and grilled hamburgers and edamondes on the deck with Hendersons.
I played PB this am. AND it is not hurting tonight as I write this blog. That's a good thing. A very good thing. Now if only I can play longer and not hurt. I stopped at Gloria's and we decided to decorate her cart and ride in the parade. Denny and I went to the UPS to return a charger that didn't work for the battery we had. We got groceries and went to 3 stores to get diet Pepsi for Nancy. I weeded the stump in the back and the front fisherman area. The parade went well. The gift exchange went well. I took home the same gift I brought. My favorite chocolates Lindor. Yes!!! At 5 we went to Erbs for supper. It was so fun and great food. At home we watched tv and to bed.
Great Day!! We went to the island for church at Chapel of the Sea. Very nice. We left about 9:15 and got to church at 9;45. It started at 9:30. Great music, walls on either side are mostly glass walk out double doors. It ice so great to look out to see the lush green plants and bushes outside. AND the church lasts less than an hour. We got a replacement for our Isla Blanca park pass. it was a great time at the beach. We did nothing. We are getting quite good at doing nothing. I listened to the book by Wendell Barry ... Hannah Coulter. It was an amazing day I loved the beach, lying in the sun, warm and napping in the sun, I loved the light, the view, the music at church. After we got back to the park, we went to a Christmas get together at Dave and Tom's. SO much amazing food and fun to talk to the people. At home Everwood on TV. Last night I browsed thru my blog and copied some cute posts. I shared with same name Faith and Luke and Karen.
Evan is in Nepal!!! with package and candle in broken glass container Uffda! I was up for shower devo, no yoga, sister call with Gail and myself under the carport. Coffee and donuts We went to coffee and donuts, only to find out that NO coffee and donuts this morning. Denny and I went to make a BIG walmart run. We should have plenty of stuff for 4 months. It took a while to unload and pack away the groceries. Gail stopped in to ask me to go with her to the Minn/Rubin T shop. At home Denny put his pills in the dispenser while I made salad with "gotta use up" spinach. Denny went out to try and get Nancy's chair running. Bill came and helped. YES!!! they got it running. Bill comes to the rescue again!!! The Jensens opened some of the things Evan brought from the States. Anabel got an invitation that she can't refuse. So sweet that Haley invited Anabel to a bridesmaid on June 20,2026. YES!!
