 Up early breakfast at Lobodel Mars.  Ot wwas a great breakfast.  

At the park

Pickle ball this am was just 10ish. players.   A nice amount ... some sitting out, but not too much.  Denny, I and Jean took Nancy to wound care appointment.  After a great leftover supper Denny and I went to the hot tub, then watched TJ play basketball, (They lost) then tv before heading to bed.   This is not what you want to find in your walls.   Uffda!!

Memories of Christy

 There were a lot of people at pickle ball this am.  Good ...but it made a lot of waiting.  I stopped at Kathy's to help her hit some golf balls into the resaca.  Gail and I went to BF.  I got a $3 table cloth/lap quilt.  We went out with Schrums and the family for Christy Memories at the Olive Garden.  It was a great meal ... for a sad time ... with happy memories.  

Beach after church

 Nice slow morning.  We headed to SPI at 9:45.  Great service and the beach afterwards was amazing.  We stopped at Walmart for Rat trap and 1000 grand candy bars.  At home I made a card for  Scott's retirement "As you are retiring you may need $$$ (and in the inside of the card ... Hope this 4 1000 Grands helps.) As we walked back we visited with Joe and Teresa from Panora.  We watched the dvd Hunt for Red October.  

Port Isabel

Coffee and donuts.  Pickleball, It was fun!!  Then I went to Kathy's whee she hit some balls into the resaca,  At 1 I was at PI Nails and got my Cat Eye's done by Lei.  I wandered around the island and looked thru exhibits at the Market.  It was a good day for me.  Before heading to bed Bruce N came over and we visited outside on the deck.  LOVE when the weather in great in Texas.  

Horse Races

UP and PB in am.  I started to try and use Nancy's machine to take in the "YELLOW" dress.  I broke 2 sewing machine needles.  Uffda!!! Kathy K came in and laughed at me.  She gave me a ride to Kathy's.  from there I headed to the horse races. Great hamburgers.  It was so fun visiting with Sandy,Bill, Joyce, Brad, Brian and Ruth afterwards.  Bruce N came over and we were so thankful to be able to be outside.  TV before bed.   

Supper with Finchers

It was  great playing PB this morning.  It was kinda drizzling.  At 11 I went to Kathy's and helped her with her golf swing.  We invited Finchers and Bruce for supper.  It was SO good to sit and laugh over a meal.  Good Friends!  TV at night before going to bed.  

                                         

At home

 I took Bree to Black Friday Wednesday $1.  I got 4 shirts, 2 bottles ov Denny;'s vitamin, 2 sparkly head bands, a rolled canvas for Schrums's fan,  I started some baked potato soup.  I started putting together some bread.  Nancy went to paint an owl, Denny and I watched a movie  I missed playing PB at 3.  I gave away some bread, but left enough for supper with soup.  It was warm and so we ate out on the deck.  

 

Cold day SO celebrate

 I went to Sun and Fun with Hendersons.  It was some good playing and some bad. playing on my part.  My Blog book came in the mail.  YES!  It was printed by 'Into Real Pages"  and I think it turned out very well.   We took Nancy to her appointment only to have it canceled, no one there.  We picked up Bill and Kathy at 4 and went to Texas Roadhouse. Great meal, celebrating Kathy's birthday!!!  Cold icky weather, but great time with Reals.  

Cold day

Gail called and we were out the door to head to Texas Thrift.  I spent $10 on a sweater, hair barretts, a neck warmer,   I shared the yellow prom dress to the sisters  They laughed and laughed.  We watched the President inauguration.  I rode with Denny to get his haircut.  At home Denny worked on Nancy's photo slide show.   Just watched tv at night.

 I was up and planned where the tables/places would work out.  We went to church and the beach afterwards.  I listened to Recap and DAB.  It was cold and I sat on th4e bench wrapped up in a blanket.  We stopped at Walmart to get a vacuum.  After I got stuff ready I napped.  About 5 11 sisters came over.  It was fun   Good food,  margaritas, guscsmolr, hot cheese/salsa, cowboy caviar, and colored peppers in a gals decoupaged by Nancy.  Dessert of sorbet and raspberries.  

PB

 Up for devo.  PB in the morning  Denny and Arlen put the tv attachment on the wall in the living room.  Jean came and helped cut up veggies  I took a nap, Denny went to help Arlen put a fan in their bathroom.  

To the vascular tests!!!

 Slow morning, I stayed in bed and worked on Sister slide show.  Denny and I walked the park.  I had BSF study 12-1:30.  It was chilly, but sunny.  We left for SPI  and stopped at  HEB and Walmart.   We got a  wall hanger for tv.

YES!!!! It did go up and it was amazing!!!

 Up early for devo and working on sister slide show.  I played PB at 9:15.  We left with Tennies at 11:30 and ate lunch at the boat ride dock.  WE got on the boat about 3.  The captain pointed out dolffins swimming along the boat.  It was amazing.  The launch went up about an hour later.  AND it came down to the chopsticks.  BOOM!!  We ate at Dirty Al's  before coming home. Great day.  

NO LAUNCH

I didn't sleep well last night.  Who knows why.  At 8:45 I took Gail, Arlen and Bruce to $1 BF.  I got 3 treasures.  A shirt for Jean,   The launch was canceled.  Lunch was leftover Chinese ... yum.  We walked around the park and tried to get the ice maker going.  Denny helped Bill move the shower door.  In the afternoon we watched dvd's.  I sent out the invite for sister get together.  We watched DVD's Hope Floats (Sandra Bullock, wife dumped on goes back to hometown.) 4 Western movies  Johnny Depp 

Taco- No Chinese

PB at 8:30. It was great playing.  Then home and talked to Nancy about Sister get together.  We took Nancy to her Dr appointment at 1:30.   On the way home Nancy volunteered for take out supper.  I suggested Chinese and Boy did we have a great meal.  Wow!!  Great food. with family.    Before we ate I stopped to check if it would work for Sharon and Ceil to come to a sister's get together on Sunday night.  .  Ron came to the door and said Sharon wasn't doing too well tonight.  She would call or text me with an answer tomorrow.  You could tell it was hard for Ron to see Sharon not feeling good,  He said they have been married 58 years and she was the one for him.  He said there was nothing he would rather do than be caring for her.  "I can't imagine life without her."  Before going to sleep we finished the Sci fi DVD.  Sound of thunder. ( I think I don't ever need to watch another Sci FI.  It isn't the way the Bible says the world is going to end..)  Then we watched Woodlawn.  (A film based  an a true story.  A football team that accepted Christ and the changes that  Christians can make.  Good movie.  *AND the star player wears the number 22 same as Caitlin Clark and the coat takes a job looking for State Farm*.  A great story of what happens when God shows up.  Good movie.)   

Ladies' golf

 I ws sick to my stomach around 5 am, but at 8 I felt good enough to play pb.  I stopped to say hi to Gloria.  I planted the rosemary and mint around the stump.  At 10:20 we left for golf at Brownsville golf center.  13 gals,  Some who have played very little.  It was a good day.  AND the stop at C&C was yummy!! At home Denny had finished washing the 3 sides of the trailer.  Denny and watched dvd  The Proud Ones ( A western with shooting guns)  Then we started A Sound of Thunder.  ( It is a sci fi movie about time warps and dinosaurs that return after a time travel trip.)  WE fell asleep, so there's that.

Beach Sun. Day

 Bruce came over and had breakfast with Denny.  We left for golf about 10 for the 11 am service.  Then to the chilly, cloudy, beach until 2.  We stopped at Walmart before heading back to the park.

Personality speaks louder than appearances.     9.  I walk away from people who don't value me. They might not know my worth, but I do.    10.  I remain cool when someone plays dirty to outrun me in the rat race. I am not a rat & neither am I in any race.    11.  I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions. It’s my emotions that make me human.    12.  I have learned that it's better to drop the ego than to break a relationship. My ego will keep me aloof, whereas with relationships, I will never be alone.     13.  I have learned to live each day as if it's the last. After all, it might be the last.    14.  I am doing what makes me happy. I am responsible for my happiness, and I owe it to myself. Happiness is a choice. You can be happy at any time, just choose to be!     I decided to share this for all my friends. Why do we have to wait to be 60 or 70 or 80, why can't we practice this at any stage and age?

Refrig

 Coffee and donuts.  We sat by Wendy and brian.  They were getting a new small refrigerator with out a freezer and we are happy to take their "old" one.  After attacking the ants/cleaning by Denny we moved things in the shed. YES!!!  We got it to fit!!!  We let Reals know we were ready to celebrate.  They came over.   Jean and Arlan joined us too.  Nancy went to play cards at 406.  We watched a couple of DVDs.   No reservations/ Mummerford/ and Patriot 2 days ago.  Making the grand total DVD =3

LLLL   Pickleball             Up early.  I rode with Hendersons to PB at 7.  Gail and I won the first games. Lost the next 2 matches and came out 4 th out of 4.  Uffda!! but it was fun!  At home I met with the zoom BSF.   Heading to Bransons for supper at 5.   

Horse Races

Up at 8 for devo and making soup and muffins.    I took food to Bert and Dan.  Pot soup, banana muffins, watermelon, potato salad and fresh bread.  I went to Schrums to watch The Patriot. Then to the horse races.  I visited with Greta at the races.  Great hamburgers.  YUM!!! We watched some high priority.
