Happy anniversary Kathy and Bill!!

Up for DAB,  So wonderful to be in a clean house, a clean car, my plants planted, warm weather, near family and friends, Thank you Jesus.  The dance was at 9.  Good to spend time together. 

Around 4 Seasons

Up in the am and coffee and donuts at the rec hall.  Pickleball afterwards.  Denny helped decorate for the dance tomorrow night and then went back to the trailer to clean.  Bless his heart!!!  Later in the afternoon we went to get 7 gallon of water and then washed the car.  We came back to the park and Denny finished washing/shining the Rav 4 and I planted the ivy and ranuculus I brought from home   We had a great supper of tamales, guac and salad.  I set the ranunculus to soaking.  Lord, help me with the ranunculus.   Good day in the valley.

                                  

                                             

Unpack

I was up and enjoying the deck view, visiting with Joan, and coffee.  Denny and I moved stuff out of the storage shed.  The grill was really heavy for us to move.  We think next time we'll just wheel it inside and store it in the kitchen.  We watched the ISU game, Bill and Kathy stopped after they got done with work.  Bruce Gail, Joyce, and Brad stopped.  So good to see and visit.  Good day in the Valley.  Wonderful pictures of Raab family came thru facebook.  

7 pm in 4 Seasons:)

We left north Oklahoma City after a good $10 breakfast at the hotel.  Denny drove and drove I kept awake.  Denny drove and drove, I kept awake.  We got to Brownsville and took the longer road to Price road instead of going on 550 around the north part of B'vill. We stopped at Harbor and were home soon after that.  Gail, Bruce and Bill stopped to visit!! Nancy had cheese and crackers.  So great to be at our second home.   Thank you, Jesus for safe travels!!!

Drive south ...

Up to wash dishes, empty refrigerator, take out trash, pack suitcases, pack RAV 4, wash and put away clothes, put away bedding, take chair cushions to Coop, fold up chairs, tables, wash table clothes.  We were hoping we would be able to leave by 10 ... really got left by 10:30.  Drive, Drive, Drive... We stayed in a Hilton Garden Motel in Edmonton, OK.  It was really nice.  We had supper at the hotel before heading to bed.  So good to be traveling with Denny!!  It was a treat to be staying in a nice hotel.  We've stayed in some doozies some years!!!

Tues all leave

Pack up @ 7 for Z J's  I made biscuits and gravy.    Luke was not feeling well.  They were packed up by 10.  Cooks had a bite to eat for lunch.  They put on the bike rack.  Denny and I started washing sheets and cleaning and washing more loads and straightening. and moving furniture and vacuuming and making beds and packing.  We were pooped!!!   So good to have everyone home.  I gave Denny his "preselected Christmas gift".  

Merry Christmas

 I woke up to see snuggling in early morning light.  Haley & Rose and Kane & Lincoln were so cute, just watching the tree lights.   I fixed eggs bacon, fruit that we grazed on all morning.  About 9 Denny started by reading the Christmas story from the Bible.  We opened gifts, lots nice things.  The kids played with toys.  Tyler got a drone that was interesting to run.  Denny tried in the house and there were lots of banging into walls and ceilings.  Cooks got a pingpong table (that Mandy didn't know she said she would like) and a bike rack.  Matt got a toothbrush & smoker, Becky-saddlebags and shirt.  Karen - a robe, Luke-a jiggler, Haley- 2 books, TJ-Cologne, Kane-  Hallie made a pretty charcuterie board that we devoured and we opened, played, the gifts we had gotten.  Z J's  About 4 we had smoked brisket, party potatoes, corn on the cob in the garage.  I used the china dishes from Mom.  It took a while to clean up with the dishwasher and lots of loads.  At night we played games from Christmas. 

Sunday Dec 24

We went to church and had a lunch of ham sandwiches.  Then I and Grands went down for naps and watch The Grinch until Z Johnsons arrived.  We fixed the soup and after the Candlelight church service we came home to eat in the coop.  Missy had sent Nepali gifts with someone from N. who was going to the Twin Cities.  The littles played musical chairs around the coffee table.  From there we carried supper stuff into the house and others put away stuff in the kitchen.  Fun time in garage later.

                                              

                                                   

Sat 23 Cooks come

 We just chilled in the morning.  L&K went in to IG.  Mandy and Jason had gone to Omaha yesterday.  They opened presents with Jan and visited with John before heading up to the farm.  We fixed seasoned hamburgers, corn casserole,  and Jalepino poppers.  

EX J's come

I went to play pickleballl.  Uffda!!! Some times I just don't play well enough to win matches.  We finished getting supper ready for Luke and Karen who got to the farm about 6.  Pete joined us for grilled steaks, Iowa Chops, asparagus and ice cream and toppings.  Pete brought brownies that had oreos in the batter.  Luke and Karen are staying in the gray room, lIncolm in our closet, and Rose in the computer room. 

Cherokee Nails it!!!

Up and doing stuff, but didn't get DAB done.  We went into IG for Denny's dermatology appointment.  We stopped at the grocery store.  I picked up 3 boxes at Mumms, bought 2 signs at Rustic Lily, went to Casey's in Holstein and picked up corgi stickers, then to Cherokee New Leaf.   I went to Tessa's and got a haircut, nails and toenails.  Mandy treated me with the Christmas stocking gift for me.   Then to HyVee for Fruit.  After I pick up the boys at Daycare we went to Danny's for French fries (where the waitress said they had the best FF in town) and played with coins.  When we got home I fried hamburger for walking tacos and made mac and cheese.  Mandy and Jason had lots to hear when they came home.  Gotta luv those boys!   I brought home walking tacos for supper.  Denny is smoking the brisket and pork shoulder.   I texted Jean with a picture of the garage and Christy's rug. 

LotsaPB

I w up early and baked the poppers, heated the soup.  Then played PB for 8-11.  Such fun but I don't think I am getting any better.   We had about 11 playing then they came out for lunch.  Craig, Sue, Marilyn,Tim Rebecca, Mike, Brenda, Ben, Kara and us 2.  It was a un time.  Good food.  I mad potato soup, Brenda made French bread Becca brought candy sweet plate, They liked the Sangria I make.  After they left, We napped, the watched news and went to Awana.  Boy am I tired!!!

OGT Look at freezer

I went to OGT in the morning.  Denny struggled with Hemer not coming out to look/fix the furnace AND stressed because the car parts were not even looked at by Segebart.   He got a hair cut. I baked a couple batches of bread.  We put a table together down in the machine shed.  We ate supper watching tv and then sorted thru the stuff in the freezer.  Lord, may Your will be done in our lives.  Bless the lunch get together tomorrow.  Heal John.  

PB

Did not make 100 for Wordle.   PB  Stop at stores. Got all Christmas card out.   Tried Sangria.  Fun night, just being at home with Denny.  Love the stuff that is going on at 4 Seasons.

SS Christmas Program

We were up and relocating the elf.  And finding a book.  And making waffles with syrup and cinnamon sugar.  The boys went to SS and joined the children in their Christmas program.   At home we had lunch and watched the Polar Express.  Jason and Mandy got here from Omaha about 3:30.  John is doing better.  It is good to hear.  After they left we worked on the Christmas letter.  Lord, Help us make it thru another year 'cause doing Christmas letters are stressful.  

Home with the boys

Well, at 10 last night Mandy gave me more instructions on the Elf.  So change in directions.  Yes, I placed him in a tree, yes, I hid the book under the tree skirt.  Yes, the boys were super excited to wake up and see the elf.  John did not improve after his procedure yesterday afternoon.  I got the ok to request general prayers and texted SS class, Thursday study, my sisters, and Nikki and Sherry.  Jan was really thankful Mandy came last night.  We had a great time with the boys.  Fun to have treats in front of the tree and read books.  

PB garage boys

 I went to play PB from 8-11.  When I got home we set up the garage with 3 tables, patio furniture, and Christy's washable rug.   We mainly relaxed,  I Sorted out the file cabinet drawer.  Around 6 Mandy and Jason dropped off the boys here and they drove to see John in the Omaha hospital.  What a fun time we had!!!  

Study

 We went to Odebolt in the morning to send back some gifts that Denny ordered 2 of.  I headed to study  at Sue's.  I had texted Sherry and Nikki to see if they wanted to join us for supper.  It was SO nice.  I love to visit with them.  I gave Nikki the aqua lamp and aqua twin bed spread for her upstairs room.  Sherry gave us some ind gifts.
