We got up, had breakfast, and waited for the fog to lift a little before heading south at 7:30. It looks like a 4-5 hour drive to Brownsville. Arriving at 4Seasons @12:30.
Now to figure out our mileage for the last 84 hours since we left Kathmandu on Thursday 2:30 am and Arrived in Brownsville Sunday 1:30 pm. 3 days x24 hours in a day equals 72 plus another 11 hours=83 hours.
Mileage: Kathmandu to Doha = 2089 Doha to Chicago= 7109 Chicago to Minneapolis= 409 Minneapolis to Ida Grove= 288 Ida Grove to Brownsville Texas = 1279 Total miles 11,174
Miles per hour = 11,174 divided by 83 hours = 134 MPH Uffda!!
Nice time in Texas. WARM!! We visited on the deck with Gail, Nancy, Jane, Bruce N. and then went to see BN's place. About 4 I went to Fay's tp watch as she fixed food for supper. 10 of us. Finchers, they’re friends from Alabama, Bransons, Bruce and Meg and us. Great meal. Home and to bed.
