I slept thru the storm, but only slept less than 4 hours. I got up and just was alive. Most got up around 9 and Denny fixed breakfast. Anabel fixed Denny and I iced coffee. I ran over to Cathy''s and bought $15 - 12 annuals. Jensens went into Ig rec center and I went to pull weeds. I showered and Denny fixed picked eggs. We grilled hamburgers and had cottage cheese chop suey. Mark and Lauren had their baby girl. Liilian Beth. Thank you Jesus.
I slept until 7 something. WOW!!! Now for me that's a long time. Note to self. Denny reminded me to take the magnesium that he got per Fay F. to help with sleep ... over 6 hours. for the win. Missy, Anabel and I headed to IG for a Dr. appointment to check for tubercles for her college enrollment. It all checked out o. lShe could just get a blood draw. Anabel was (horrified) that 4 vials of blood were drawn. We came home to visit under the pine trees. Evan went in to meet Josh for lunch. We went in around 2 too get Brooks debit card to work and a BB workout off Brooks and a 4 mile run for Anabel and Missy. I left for Alta around 6:30. I do a lot of walkin while I was there. I came home with 3 things that didn't fit. and a fold up rocker that Denny said isn't too comfortable. At home Denny was changing a furnace filter. and was cleaning. I went to the girls' softball game in Battle Creek. It stormed after the jv game and there was a delay, During the Delay Erin H and I visited. I went home about 8. The Jensens got to the farm about 10:30. ON Thursday the wifi wasn't working right and Brooks climbed the tower and restored it
I went into town to play PB before OGT. Nice bunch. I watered my garden so I could pull weeds. Uffda!! Lots of weeds. I discovered where zinnias were. Lynn came over for fish. Toshi was fishing.
Up for devo and making red white and blue vase. I took 4 asparagus, 4 vases and a RWB for door prize. Gail and I shot a 41. I pretty much played not so good. We played with Rose S and Leah F. I sold $60. and spent 165 not buy 2 white mums at Phil's. At home I napped rested. Denny was putting tape on the rusting pickup. It is SO hot and windy. Just makes me want to stay inside. Uffda!!

Kim went to SS with me. She like our pastor's preachingg a lot. After church the Youslings and Whaley's came to our house for lunch. and catching up. It was fun!!.We ate under the pine tres and sat in the sunroom and watched screen mirroring pictures of updates.
Denny fixed 3 shots of breakfast. Himself, Gary , Kim. We had coffee to go along with the visit. Denny handed out water bottles, Iim and I sat and watched with Diane and Jay. Gary rode the trolly with class of 76. Then we walked to the park and sat and visited. Next was Mexican at Taco Island. I walked down to watch Sydney play PB. At home we h\chilled.
I didn't sleep well last night. UFFDA!! Carol T. went with me to the Olive Branch. We volunteered from 7-11/ I came home and took a short nap.;About 2 Kim and Gary We spent a little time walking around. Pictures from putting flowers together for Tatum wedding.
I was up for devo and putting some flowers together for Farmer's Market. At 9 Bob { came to put together flowers for Tatum's wedding . Mary Kay, Maggie,Jordan and Taylor joined us. I made the front ones. WE put together about 26 vtaller ase, 25 low vases. I head table with 3 side oasis. We visited after coffee. Afterwards I put together 26 for the Market. I went to Susan's for study, I met the softball gals before their bus left. There were 10 that stopped by. I shared my testimony and the Roman's road. The farmers market went from 4:30=6:30. I sold 13 flower vases. More drug money :) Dennydid a trial run on then steaks for Sunday. DELISH!!!
I figured out that I could not meet the softball girls before their game, so I worked on putting together some of the flowers etc that I had received. I made 20 flower bundles, using baby's breath from Haley, lilies from Mandy, wrapping from Schrums and Lisianthus from Jane H. They turned out pretty, I put them in an old basket and we dropped them off in Holstein on our way to the Cook's softball game. We go spent an hourgetting groceries. then we had a Fun time at the games, Tyler was thrilled because he got to be last batter.
I was up and weeded just a bit. I picked up Rita, The bridge is being fixed. I picked up Jack after Clover Kids. We ate at the school lunchroom. I took a nap while boys played in the crawl space. Around 3 we used Andrea's cart and played some golf.At home Denny mowed.
I was up and played golf at Holstein. My partner was Donna M. We played with Dawn B and Jean C. I took 5 bouquets to selll and 4 of them went home with golfers. Donna and I also got 3rd place Second flight $ 12.50, Nw that's lots of (flower) drug money for me. I picked up Denny's prescription. At home Denny had washed the bedding. We were both tired and so we headed to bed.
WAY TO GO DENNY!!! FOUR GREAT KIDS ONE GREAT FATHER HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!
I was in the lobby at 6 for devo. For some reason, Denny is not feeling the best. Uffda!! and on the way home we made a needed stop. We decided not to go to Cherokee, instead Jane at Prairie Pedlar has some lisi's for me and we are stopping there. Lord, guide our travels. AND my flowers plans for all those baby breathes.
Beautiful morning. Beautiful day!!! I went to the lobby around 5 for devo. We ate with Cooks. Nice breakfast eggs, salsa, Waffles looked great. I rode with Mandy and Jason as Denny watched the boys in the pool. I bought 2 Globe Thistles and one other plant. We came back and then Mandy and I met Jensens at the thrift store where Phillip got 2 pairs of shoes and Evan got a monopoly game. We ate with luke's ;and Cooks at the Mexican place right nest door. Return of the Jedi. The venue for the wedding was perfect. Old Dairy farm. Lovely outdoor wedding areas in the cool shady trees. Family pictures at 3. Wedding at 4. Meal at 5:30 Done 10:30. Its worked out as smooth as silk. Thank you Jesus. Matt did a great job of toasting the couple. Good meal and lots of loud music that I didn't know at the dance. After take down, they sent me off with LOTS of baby's breathe.
I was awake for quite a bit of time during the night. But I did wake up so I could bake the egg casserole. We packed the pickup and are on our way to Buffalo and then Zimmerman. I am obsessed with the possibility of getting steps for the CSA barn from Sinott's auction. On our drive north I put in bids on about 4-7 items. Lord, guide my purchases. Well, I didn't get anything. Thanks Lord, for your direction. It was raining when we got to the rehearsal for the wedding. Very cool place. We ate inside during the rain and then the sun came out. It was damp and little cool, but very fine!
I made egg caserole for breakfast. I had a 97% rating for my sleep. Unheard of !!! Denny had a dermatology appointment at 8:15. We made it home to tell Lopers bye. Time to wash bedding !!! and remake the beds. Missy and I sorted out the refrigerator and got food ready for supper. Smoked Brisket- Smoked pork, buns, asparagus, watermelon, pasta salad, coleslaw, Genghi watched the World Cup, Denny and I went to bed at halftime.
Nice and relaxing in the morning. We left for Cherokee abobut1:30. Tessa did my nails at 3:15. The boys had swim pictures and then we watched the kids get ready to compete. Kinda Chilly in the water and in the breeze outside of the water. They use a sharpie to write the events that they are in. They swam in one heat Tyler had Alexa next to him and getting his to the right place. She walked beside him while he was in the pool. He was the youngest one there, I think. The meet got postponed when a storm arrives. During the 45 minute break we went to Cooks and got a bite to eat. The resumed the meet and the boys each were in 2 more events. Before their 4th event the meet was canceled because of the temp and late time because of the weather wait.
Chilly this am. Denny fixed breakfast and we ate under the pine trees on the long table. The rest of the am was spent working on this blog, playing ball, Cuube, Fun tp watch the goings on. At night we had the brisket that Denny smoked. YUM!!
