Beach, please

After spending time watching tv yesterday afternoon, I didn't sleep well and got ups for devo and straightening the kitchen.   

Happy Birthday Phillip.

Pickleball at 8.   We moved Bruce's car to our carport.  Denny put desktop in a suitcase.  I made 2 flower arrangements for Fay's shrimp boil.  

First Friday

It was rainy for PB , but at 10 Londa and I went up and played singles.   Denny prayed the deck furniture.  Kathy came and I showed her the tissue flowers, she okayed then.  BSF zoom went well.  I teased Joyce about making a good choice and chair dancing and POLE dancing.  At 7 we picked up Kathy and Greg for Second Friday downtown Brownsville.  It was a fun night.  Lots of music, food and Denny waited to see some dancing horses.  

Bug guy

Pickleball at 8.  Bug guy.   Took Rav to Best buy for sound/internet system to put in.  I looked around at Hobby lobby and got some tissue paper for flowers for the Historical rental.  After the car was done and instructions given we drove to down town to get a gift certicficate for Reals to Chilmoli.  Then we went to cobblestone and shared a chicken fried steak.  Yum!! and stuffed mushrooms.  Joan brought over key lime pie to share on the deck after the sun set.  Hurrah!!! The glue job on umbrella is holding up for at least one night.  Lord, guide and keep it.  

  

To Mexico

 I played pickleball with 5 others until it started to sprinkle.  Then Gloria's for coffee.  At 9:30 we picked up reals and headed to Progresso.  it was a fun day.  We got our toes done at Bill's.  Karmen did a great job on my toes, but did'n't have time to give me a manicure. We ate above Canada.  When we got home we chilled, Denny washed the car and got Dede working.   

Hurrah antibiotic for tooth ache.

Pickleball.   Then after waiting for Meg, Fay and I went to Black Friday.  I got a pretty pick hat.  Just in case we have Hat Day for the human horse race.  We went to HEB to get an antibiotic for my tooth ache. Missy and Christi on twin day at KISC.

Up for pIckleball at 8.  Denny and I worked on tax stuff.  When we got done Denny drove to Best Buy and  got a blue tooth for the Rav 4.  Then we stopped at Home Depot to pick up flooring.  It looks like it is too wide for replacement boards.  We ate soup and bread to on the deck and then watched tv.  My tooth has been hurting little.  When I had Dr. Parks check on it.  She said it looked ok.  All the time down here, I've been pressing on the gum under the crown.  Saturday night When we went to Reals I had been eating peanuts and it hurt to bite Down.  Ii talked to Mandy tonight and she said to take 3 ibupropphens about every 6-8 hours.  

He is risen, Indeed

I got up and made onion casserole  for this afternoon,  We got to church early and sat behind a sweet family of 6.  I invited them to stay at our farm.  They sold their home in Nevada and are RVing.   Lord, guide their plans.  We thought about coffee on the island, but took the wet drive back to the park and had our coffee at #407.   At 3 we went to the hall for ham and dishes.  SO good.  Watched tv at night.  The rain today was unusual.  It hasn't rained all the months we have been here.  Nice pictures of our families.  Nice phone call from Luke's.  

New phones

I was up for devo early.  I played PB until 10.  We went to Verizon and got 2 17 pro I phones.  At home Denny transferred info. to our new phones.I took a quick nap before we headed to Reals for Chicken wings about 4:30.   They fixed them in the air fryer and they we're so good. We topped off the night playing euchre.  Now that really thrilled Denny!  There were many beautiful paper flowers at the Art Lounge.  May be an incentive to me making some. 

Good Friday

 Mary S and I went to 50% off At Texas thrift.  I got 2 casserolr dishes, gray shoes, a bright yellow/red scarf. We went to look at Iphones and decided against getting them. At home Denny researched info more. We got supper at DQ with a  $15 gift certiciate.  What a treat. At 5 we headed to Port Isabel and Chapel for the Good Friday Service.  We were early and so I stopped at Renew and looked around and Denny sat in the car.  Then I stopped at Art Lounge and Art Space and looked around while Denny sat in the car.  After contacting the post office in IG Jean Johnson rescued my plants that came by postal service.  Thank you Jean!!

Home Thursday

 PB at 8.  Visit with Gloria. Ate yummy leftovers from last night.   I rode to Port Isabel with Cooper and Kathy, When we got back Denny and I went to the pool around 5. At 6 I went up and played pony tail.  At night I worked on photo for Judy in picart.  She needed a grandpa put in a picture.   I hate the grub that is eating/ate may lisianthus.  Uffda!! Denny took me to Lowe's to get some Grub killer.  I hope

$1 BlackF Wednesday

 I played PB for an hour .  Then Joan, Fay and I went to BF.  At home Denny was setting up for Dede to do the floors.  We went to Reals for mignon, plus.  What a great meal.  Kathy and I sat outside in the shaded area with a breeze.  The guys sat inside.  God to visit with them.  

 PN at 9.  ONE BIG GRUB who chowed on my lilies.  UFFDA1!!  So this big grub was in the bottom on the tote I placed him in where he ate off all my plugs.  So the mint tea bags did nothing.  It was high hopes for me.  Slow morning.  Gloria wasn't up when I stopped there, but I did open bedroom door and told I stop by later this afternoon.  Denny was out on the deck having coffee.  I ordered eucalyptus.  Headed to Coxes at 4.  Nice gathering.  yummy Orange drink.  

Blog books came.

 PB at 8.  I just did little all day.  I did my memorization James 1:1-10 recorded.  I watched Angel tv.  Denny needed some one to hold the umbrella so there I was trying to help. Lord, it has been good to have the umbrella on the hot sunny deck.  Uffda!!!  Too bad it has broken.  Hurrah that Denny keeps trying to fixit.  We got the 3 blog album books.  Ordered on March 17  delivered March 31.Cost $393.50.  That's lots of money, and pictures are very big in most cases, but it is impressive that we had such a great year.  We ordered from PixxiBook.   

Rescued by still having fish.

 Before church I made guacamole, got food ready to take to the fish fry, cut up pineapple and strawberries.  I had told Gloria I would get fruit at 77 and share.   I dropped off a plate.  We had to sit in the fellowship room ... full house.  After church  ... beach. At 12:30 we went to Lobo Del Mar for painting.  Fun afternoon.  Class went from 1-4.  We left for the fish fry that started at 4.  Uffda!! Not happy about going late.  BUT luckily they still had fish and food for us.  After eating way too much we came home, napped, and watched a good movie on tv. (After watching a not so good movie last night.)

strolling 77.

I played PB for a couple hours.   We chilled at home.  Denny took me to 77.  He stayed in the car while I walked and bought limes, avocados and a pineapple.  At home we visited with Fay and Gary.  I started to watch a movie while Denny napped.  The tv kept waving in and out ... so it was torchurous  to watch How to loose a man in 10 days.  as it waxed in and out.  I've seen it before ... didn't need to see the ending, but yup I wanted to.  Uffda!!!  Strange me.  I better go put some more beer in the bowls in my lisianthus plants in hope that it will keep the grubs at bay.  I ordered 2 sets of irises from Jakes

Chilmoni

 Played PB for 1 1/2 hour.  At home I was sad about grubs in lisi.  In the shed there was a package of Mint tea so I thought I amy as well try ... perhaps mint tea might keep grubs away.  Uffda!!  We went out to eat at 4 and sat in the parking lit until it opened at 5.  Luke and Karen had given us.  Denny decided to splurge and spend 2 days of driving tractor to buy supper.  It was a great treat.  Baked cauliflower steak.  Shared Cowboy Ribeye and they made smoked guacamole at our table and treated us to several variations of salsa and crispy tostadas. Lovely ...  What an unbelievable treat.  

                                         

UPS delivery stress

 Okay, so I thought I would use my 3 am get-up-and-go- to-the- RR timeandnotbeabletogobacktosleeptime to listen to DAB.  But I checked UPS and realized I needed a signature for the lily delivery that is coming today.  UFFDA !!!  Lord, please work this out.  It is more complicated than I had anticipated.  UFFDA!!! All'w well that ends well.Denny got the no need for signature route taken.  Jessica got the package and opened it and spread out the bulbs on the counter in the kitchen.  Denny worked on shed organization and disposal of unneeded stuff!!  Got a lot done.  Bree came over and visited in the car port.  

Noel 100 surprise

I played PB until L845, then  Joan and I went to Black Friday.  I got 20 pillow white covers.  At 11 a bunch from the park walked over to Scarlet and Noels place and sang Happy Birthday for him almost being 100.      We went to get Denny a haircut and a Walmart run.  At home Denny made window heat protectors.  I napped.  We fixed stir fried and raman for supper.  Then watched tv. Uffda!!  So much violence.  I tested Wild August Jennifer and offered my help.  Jessica stopped by the house.  Don't know why???

Denny fishing

 AT 7!! Denny left with Jerry for fishing.  I played PB for an hour.  I worked on BSF.  I am so saddened by grub killing my plants.  I put more plants in tp rolls.  I went to pool for a couple of hours before dEnny came home from fishing.  They caught nothing.  zero fish.   Denny rested after getting home.  It's tough getting up and out the door at 7.  Uffda!!!

Blooming tulips!!!

Played PB.  Denny cleaned and cleaned and cleaned.  Nancy's room. Kitchen floor, refurbrised Kitchen chairs.   We had Fay and Jerry over for hamburgers ... but Fay doesn't like hamburgers, so she brought sausage brat for Denny to grill.  I went to play ponytail.   Jessica found blooming tulips in the garage.  

Church, eat and beach

After church we went to Meatballs and ate with Ron and Carol who are from Carroll. Then we went to the beach until 3.  At home we watched tv.  Jerry came to invite Denny to fish on Tuesday.  Hope they get some for the Sunday fish fry.  I signed up for BB's painting class next Sunday.
