I love my SS ladies!! So good to share life with them. After church and SS I went to IG. Thank you to all the businesses that participated!! I got a few treasures. Including a corner shelving for the basement. At 6 we went to the Ingathering. Thank you, Jesus for your provision. 73K.
Saturday Phone call with the sisters, I headed to IG about 7:45. I got a lighted end table. I thought I would give it to Gail, but I think I will keep and put it in the hall way by Luke's old room. At the other Dose store I got a few gifts. After that I headed to Cherokee to play with the little guys. Great day. At home Denny and I went to the live King Theater show. I visited with Nathan A afterwards. Thank you Jesus! TJ's Zimmerman Thunder football team played in Minnesota State Tourney.
It just seemed to early to go with Mandy to SF. She was leaving around 7 and I just didn't want to get moving. T'was good to stay home. I really don't remember what we did. I think I may have made cinnamon rolls,, dill onion buns, party potatoes. Note to self .... Write down some notes to tell what myself what we did.
Well, this was a Doctor day. Dentist appointments for Denny and myself. Dermatology appointment where Crystal burned off a couple questionable spots and took a sample of a spot on my back. (Later we found out that the spot was indeed cancer, but she got it early enough that I can get it fixed on December 5 in SC.) We left for SC around 10:30, Stopped at Tiefentallers to get a smoked turkey and some seasonings, and shopped at Farm Fleet before our cardiology appointment. We got to the heart clinic early and just waited. The medical people we worked with were very nice and knowledgeable. On the way home we stopped in Danbury and did little Christmas shopping at the Blue Bird Boutique. I hope they love our presents.
I stayed in bed early in am; So great to be in our home. I headed to IG for pickle ball until about 11. I stopped at Lewis Drug and couldn't get the medicine, I stopped at Dr. Veltri's and got an appointment with NP, Jackquline at 3:10. It was good to get the medicine, hopefully it will do it's job. I stopped at OGT and got 4 suitcases to take to Nepal. At home we grabbed a bite to eat and then went to Awana. Thank you, Jesus, for our church and our church family.
It was a short night because I was awake at 2:30 and just stayed up. Gail took us to the airport about 4:45. There was a long line going thru TSA, but we got checked thru, they tagged my bag for the food in it. When the gal who was checking said, "I want to eat with you. The avocados, chips, chocolates and salami meat looked good. Our flight went well. It was colder at the Dallas airport than at the Omaha airport. Darwin was there to pick us up. We got home about 4. So great to be home!!! Good just to spend the evening with Denny.
Pickle ball in the am. We thought about going to the beach, but decided to just be at the park. I worked on the puzzle, read, and visited the Finchers about 4. They have redone their back yard and put in a tiki hut with the table that Fay and I brought home in the back of her pickup (with lots of laughs and effort). It was a moment to remember! The weather was great, the people were even better. Fun bunch!! Julie and I leave for the north tomorrow and Bransons leave Wednesday, so this was a "Til we meet again" get together. Rod, Finchers, Bransons, Julie, Karen, Roberta, Dan, Royal, Lee, Ed, Hendersons, nice fun bunch. Fun place.
