Recouperate

Headed to show my insurance card and get a free cup of coffee at the hospital.  At school, one of the teachers was gone.  Students said the substitute was old.  Interesting.  Teachers are bringing in food for the 17 days before Christmas.  2 kinds of soup, cookies, fluff salad, chips and salsa.  UFFTA!! so good.  We ordered more presents on line for Christmas.  Looking forward to getting my blog printed book from 2014.  Missy took the Jeep in to get service done on it.  Beckmans just came to the school, got it, fixed it, and brought it back to school.  Worked out great.

Headed home

Went to visit by elevators with sisters before others were up.  I took Cinn rolls and muffins plus honey nut.  Missouri Johnsons left about 8. The rest ate breakfast and headed home about 10:30.  Quick pictures with  selfie stick from Beth.  Denny drove all the way home.  I went to school for a while and Denny took the bank car home.  Then I went to the church Christmas get together for ladies.  Pretty and nice snacks.  Denny and Joe audited the church books.  Dropped off the Jeep for Missy to take to school.  It was so great to get together with siblings and extended 66 people on our family this weekend.  Praise the Lord.  I thank you Jesus for the way you have blessed us.  Keep us looking to you each day of our lives.

Grands to water park. Denny and 4 went for breakfast the rest stayed to get wet. They had fun. At 11 snacks in the party room the piñata was a hit again.  Bruce is in charge of t shirts and has been getting the piñata Keith brings rig for hanging piñata. I try to keep the troops safe. Uffta!!!  This is the 8th year for Dubuque family get together.  The big gift was a Qube and jokers set.  I got neither even tho I had the ace of spades. I teased Todd about that. Denny went to the water park with Grands. We had pizza in the party room   We watched the Iowa game. They lost. I finished watching the game in bed

Headed east later today

 Took Missy to school and got a windshield wiper for the Jeep.  Then I headed to IG. The routine check went fine. At home I loaded the Prius lots to take with us to Dubuque family weekend 

So good to see every one  there.   Again visiting in the halls seems to be our meeting place

Staying at school to plan

Slept until about 5:30 That's a good night for me. The day at school went okay. Independent living fixed Cavatini. Really, I dumped it on the bottom of the oven when I was checking it. Double uffta!! Sometimes I can't believe the stuff I do. We laughed alot about that. They also fixed parmesan bread and green beans. I went to Doses after school and then back to school to plan for the next week and get lesson plans ready for the sub. Good to get home after a long day. Huge. Huge. Huge. Answer to prayer.

Thank you Jesus!! I was reading Philippine 4 :4-8 and having a hard time living it. I used the computer while I was in bed and wrote out what I would like to say during 4th hour. At school I had an Iep at 8:30. It went well. Independent living went well, the casserole for tomorrow is ready to bake. I stopped down at flex where there was a 90% score. That's a good thing. There was a chili contest during lunch. The early out got canceled because we didn't have school on Monday;. I brought cinnamon rolls. I also took rolls to Ind. Living and 2 English classes. We ate Pat's soup at Awana. Anabel got clubber of the month. Yesterday there wasn't water on our place and Phillip had to have Barry come out. Tonight Denny discovered that we have mice in our house. YUCK!! Another bad thing about the weather turning cold. We got the traps out. Time for the mouse hunt. Looking forward to this weekend in Dubuque. These pictures were on Missy's blog. 2 hour late start

I was up early and drove north on Orchard on my way to school.  The Ind living class was not smooth while they were making the fixing for cavatini.  They browned hamburger and boiled the noodles in a shortened class period.  I put next semester's student's schedule on the chart.  Just trying to look ahead.  I came home prettty shot after a short day because it still felt like a long day.  Denny had a long day at the bank,too.  We chilled in the sunroom.  The snow outside looked so pretty.  Phillip was driving the 4 wheeler around this am.
