Fun with Grands

I was up for Devo, check the raccoon situation, and I headed north about 6:35 and drove past Christina's flower bed.  In Cherokee the boys and I played in the crawl space, and  in the yard.  About 10 we headed into town only to have the dummy light  for a flat tire.  So I drove to Brad's and the boys and I watched as they tested and fixed the tire.  From there we ate school lunch, went to New Leaf , and then headed to Mill Creek State Park in Paulina.  Fun after noon on the beach and playing in the play  grounds.  Denny drove the RV up to Cooks and we had Jack's T ball game at 5.  We had great chicken enchilada's at Cooks later. 

OGT

 I woke Denny up before I left for IG.  When I got home I think I took a short nap.  The coons had eaten the peppers that Denny planted.  What a bummer!!!   We rocked and talked.   Later in the  afternoon we  cobbled up the picket fence near the fire pit.  I splashed some white paint on it.   Luckily Denny took the drill bit/ paint stirrer and made cottage cheese paint from a glob of solidified paint in the gallon bucket.  I think it looks lots better.  Denny went to bed.  I joined him after a shower to  soak off most of the paint I had left on my body.  I am not a neat painter.  Uffda!!!

Golf!!

I went out and put together the flowers for the door prize for Keenagers.   Then headed to Thistledown about 7:30.  I bought 2 geramiumns and some blue salvia.  There was a line when I got to Twin Lakes.  Marilyn, from Sac city was very nice to play with.  She thought it was fine if I made bad shots with my shoulder issue.  We shot a 45. Not too bad considering ....   All 8 packages of asparagus sold.  So I had "drug" money for more flowers.  I stopped at Prairie Pedlar on the way home and got $37 worth of Lisianthus.  At home Denny was rocking.  We stabilized the picket fence as we watered the gardens.  I called Renea and was too late for the varsity softball game that started at 5:30.  Uffda  I planted all the lisi, so I'm almost caught up on planting ....Just the sunflowers by the picket fence after I paint it.  Job for tomorrow.  

                                        

Church, stickers, steak,

 Up for devo, arrange flowers, check gardens and to see this text from Missy.  Made my day.  Naps in afternoon.  Headed to Jon R. to put stickers on water bottles before we have steaks.   It was a fun intergenerational night.  So good to have all ages work together. 

Jenn and Gabriels wedding

Devo and sister's phone call.  We headed to IG when Denny ordered spark plug connections and I got peel stop primer, gray porch paint, and mulch.  At home I planted sunflowers and  the plant Keith gave me.  I took a soaking bath to get the dirt from under my fingernails before heading to Jenn and Gabriel's 3:30 wedding.   We helped put the entryway back ignorer before heading to the Boulders in Denison for the reception.  Pretty wedding, fun DJ at the reception.

Gail's birthday

 After devo I gave Gail a call to wish her HB.   Denny and I drove to Storm Lake.  The '72 is done, Oscar did a great job!!  It really looks nice.  Next we took it to a tire shop to get new wheels.  We made a Walmart run,  Denny waited for the tires, I went to Joyce's and a couple garage sales.  When it was done we took it to Oscars for the final look then to the lake for a couple pictures.  When we went to put gas in it, strangly enough Mandy and her half marathon friend stopped by the gas station.  Thank you Lord,  At home I planted some and softened dirt to plant more flowers.  

           

Plant and SB

 PB 8-10.  Dentist appointment at 10.   I had picked some iris and peonies and shared them with Marilyn and Andy at PB.   He texted me back to say "Thanks for the flowers, Faith - Debbie loves me now."   That's cute!!!  I delivered a package to Goldsmith's with flowers and asparagus.   I went to Bergmans after that to do just a little.  I drove to study at Susans.  At home Denny had pushed in the waterer up between the hog buildings and buried the old refrigerator and hot tub.  Denny grilled burgers, asparagus, green beans.  At 6:30 I went to pick up Susan and we went to watch Stella pitch at a game against Wall Lake, etc.  They won!!! So fun!!! First win since a year ago when I went to watch them in Wall Lake.
