Christ church of the Valley

Bruce got into the park this am and stopped while we were getting ready to go to church.  We talked to Brad and Joyce and decided to have a pot luck on our deck.  We stopped at Walmart for supplies.  Denny got me a new phone case.  So nice.  We put groceries away and then I napped.  Denny started cleaning.  and asking me how many people were coming???? Stress, but the meal went well.  Denny grilled hamburgers, they tasted great!!!  Purebred Angus Sam's Mark.  We had Joan stop in, but not eat.  They had eaten at Joe's oyster bar.  Fay &Jerry, Joyce&Brad, Jean& Arlen, Bruce, Nancy, Meg, Denny &me, Sherry&Steve, Sandy &Bill, Fun meal!!!

77 Schrums here!!

We went to  coffee  & donuts They gave Brad and Denny an ovation for being the Horse Race MCee's   I played PB until 10:30 When we went with Erbs to 77 Flea market.  We ate out there.  It was so good!!!  Jean and Arlen got to 4 seasons about 4pm.  Nancy had made stew in the crock pot and we ate before the Gail and Bruce played pool.

                                   

Horse races

It ws a gray rainy day.  I went to work at the church garage sale  and sorted from 10-2.   Danny J was not feeling well and the powers that be asked Denny to help run the races.  That was a fun afternoon.  Denny had gotten together Horse jokes.  Many were of the duh variety and a lot of groans followed.  BUT in reality the crowd loved it.  Steve and Sherry came to the deck and we had a great visit just talking about the lat 50 years of raising kids and where the kids are.  

Thurs

I played PB in the second group.  After PB we went to the beach with Bransons. It was So fun!!! I walked by myself, then we sat on chairs.  And took funny pictures.  We ate at the SPI brewery.  Great hordeotres for half price.  

Mexico

Up for devo.  We went with Reals to Richados for breakfast and then to Progresso.  It was a fun day!!!  Bill got his haircut, Denny enjoy getting his feet soaked.  Kathy and I shopped, looked around a lot and ended up with some sandals.  On the way back over the bridge there is a tent strip of immigrants waiting to get the paper work to come in to the US.  This is first time that I have seen that.  Great movie  The Cokeville Miracle.  Thank you Jesus!!!

Black Friday

 Up and I did puzzles until pickleball at 8:30.  Gail and I went to BF store.  I think I could perhaps go there once every 6 weeks.  I liked it not so much.  Denny spent the day getting protection for our internet tech stuff and Uffda it was a tough day.  Thank you Denny!!  I went up to work on a puzzle while Denny was doing more computer protection work.  We went to the hot tub to chill then home to watch TV.  Nice day in Valley for me ... For Denny ... not so much!!

Sometimes you have to leave an older brother out!

Happy New year!!!

 Up for pickleball at 8:30.  I put together a couple puzzle pieces until 11 when I went to Fay's and "supervised" ie, sat and watched and did menial tasks.   I missed the polar plunge.  I went home and napped.  At 3 Denny and I went to Finchers.  It was a great meal with Finchers, Bransons, Hendesons, us and Nancy and Meg.  Surprise!!  Surprise!!!  Steve and Shery E. have rented Julie and Mike's RV.  After the fireworks we had a bunch over on the deck to meet some people in the park.  It was a great end to the year last night and a great start to the new year today.  I ask the Lord to lead me, guide me, and grant me wisdom.
