Beach

Bruce joined Denny and me out on the deck for coffee.  I trimmed the basil.  Barb stopped to say that #92 would be available for Cooks.  We stopped at Starbucks before going to SPI.  We walked thru Port Isabel outdoor market.  Once again lovely church service, view out windows, music, message.  Lord, be with Pastor Dave who had a stroke and didn't preach today.  We spent 4 hours sitting on the beach after church.  I listened to John Grisham's book, the Bleachers.  At home we unpacked and went to the hot tub.  I texted Haley.  Lord, guide and bless and they have so much to do.  

BBQ

I started bread before I went with Gail and Meg to yoga at the Farmer's Market.  It was pretty as I lay on the ground looking at the the trees in the blue overhead sky.  I joined in a group phone call.  It was so good to see/hear the kids.  I played one game of PB. Bruce came over and fished.  He got 3 fish.  One was pretty big.  I invited the park to come and pick basil if they need it.   Yesterday we made poppers that I started at 3 to bake for the BBQ at Finchers.   We headed there at 4. Such good food!! 4 types of BBQ meat.  8 Newhouses, 2 Bransons and 2 Finchers.  Denny went to gas the Rav, Nancy and I stayed later.  Great time!!

Lord, help in 2026

Up after not sleeping well last night. Jealousy is a tough thing.  Lord, help me with it.  Sat on deck, with devo and coffee.  I went to play PB with first time players.  We took Nancy to look for a lift/reclining chair.  We went to 3 places.  Nothing to purchase, but ideas.  When we got back we ate fish from Gordons  and went to the pool.  Denny and Nancy made jalephino poppers.  We sat on the deck under the lighted umbrella.  Planted remaining lisianthus seeds and eucalyptus.

Thank you Lord for 2026!!!

 I was up and showered at 5 and then back to bed until 8.  Exercise and devo until PB at 9.  I came home and then went to the pool for Polar Plunge.  I stayed at the pool until 4 working on the hard puzzle book.   At home they are watching football.  Fire works at 6:30.  Thank you Lord, for safety and protection with fireworks mishaps.  So scarey!!! All ok.   Greta died this night and as Sherry E. said. We are happy for Greta that she is free of the body she was trapped in.  She is celebrating in paradise today.  We mourn with Al. What a lady she was.  So energetic, joyful, persistent, determined,

New years Eve

 I went up to play PB, but there were no players.  Denny and I got a lot done.  Boxes to the trash,  Put down the rug in the car port.  Suitcases to the loft.  Tools to the shed.  Watched the Iowa football game.  At 3 we picked up Bill and Sandy and went to Cobbleheads to have a couple appetizers.  I took a nap before going to the dance.  Instead of a band that cost $1500. we danced to a play list that Sabans and Bennetts worked on.  We sang Aul an zine around 11:15. the deck was alive with the sound of fireworks.  Thank you Lord for another year of life on your planet. 

PB black Friday

 I got up and did some music exercise and devo.  At 8 I played PB then I drove us to Black Friday where I got 3 trays to prevent bottles from falling out of the refrigerator door.  Per Nancy's request.  I made a run to Walmart mart with Gail and Jean. Sadly I didn't get the list from Denny.  Funny end busy ptorasmmng the Dede Christmas present.  Pictures from Gary and Kim: 

PB and Bransons

After PB at Sun and Sun I planted 550 lisianthus seed.  Uffda. I have a small grow light to shift between the 3 trays of potential plants. Bransons texted us and invited us for supper of BBQ ribs.  So yummy and so good to catchup with them.
