Saturday March 7

We went to 9 am coffee and donuts.  Mert drove Sharon P and I to Palm Resaca garage sales.  I spent $2 and got a paper set of placemats and napkins that I used for our group for the dinner show at 6.  Gail and Bruce had pickle ball players over for lunch at 11:30.  Pro'bly about 25  people.  After the show we went to the hot tub.  Finally read first Friday letter.  Please remember to pray.  Nice day in the valley.

From Wild August flowers, I put together 10 small arrangements for friends around 4 seasons.

Happy Birthday Karen!!!   I'm hoping you are having a great day.  I am so glad you are our family.

I got up at early thirty and headed to Wild August to play with flowers.  I  picked flowers with 2 other Spanish speaking workers.  I put together a few bouquets of flowers.  It was fun to be with flowers again.  Pretty.  I stayed there until after 1.  When I came home we sat on the deck with Bill.  Then to the sister's party.  Nice bunch of gals all meeting together.   Denny and I went to the hot tub for about an hour .  Another great day in the valley.

Chilling at home

Beautiful sunset on the resaca,  I was pretty busy all day.  I went down to watch the pickle ball players for a while.   For Bible study there were Julie D, Hilda, and Mert.  I talked to Jennifer about going to her flower garden tomorrow.   At night I went down to play ponytail.  Then we watched a lot of TV.   Denny worked one pictures/movie for golf gathering.  We made bean soup with ingredient that Nancy has bought.   We texted Jean to let her know we were missing her.  

Boat Ride

I was up early,  we left for our boat ride about 9.  50 people from 4 seasons went on the Tour of Port of Brownsville.  Fun ride, good food, good friends.   We stopped at Walmart for supplies.  Back at the trailer I fixed food ... sweet potatoes fries, guacamole,  Now I am full, full, FULL.  Good day!

Help at World Center Kitchen

Up at 4:30 to take Jean to airport with Nancy.  Gail and I emptied out Real's trailer after we got back to then park.  I had devotions in the hammock.  At 9:30 I walked to Sally's to ride with her to the Methodist church to help do meal prep for those seeking alsylum  on other side of the river.   We got done about 2.  Denny was playing shuffle board all morning.  Nancy and I went to get seafood for supper.  So good.   Kathy goes to Omaha tomorrow, so they came for a visit and Gail and Bruce came over too.  Sally told me about a ladies 4 ay trip that 11 gals from the park are going to Fredrcksburg, Texas.  They could add one more and so I went to Sally's place where we went on line to get a ticket for the shuttle.  Looks like I am going.

Monday March 2 Celebrate sisters

Fun day.  Sisters came over for a visit.  I sorted Marti Gra necklaces to give to sisters to wear.  Denny cleaned and we put out chairs for the afternoon.  From 1-3 there was a jam session.  At 4 about 50 people came to "Celebrate Sisters" and chill.  Nice to have so many visit.  Good people in the park.

Most left around 5.  Nancy, Jean, Griselda, Kathy and I went to the airport to get Jean's boarding pass for her flight tomorrow.  

Windy!!!

Nice slow am.  It is windy ....  very windy!  Devotions out in the hammock.  Church at 10:30.  Stopped at HEB and got mustard, pretzels, and diet Squirt.   Nice afternoon.   Picture is of Jean and Paul H, family.  PTL
