Up after not sleeping very well. I played golf at Twin Lakes. With Sara T from Sac. We shot a 41 with lots of fun talk:). From there I went to Storm Lake and Alta. I helped at the Olive Branch from 3-5. Mandy met me there for shopping. When I got home i helped Denny finish mowing. I worked on getting ready for OGT to come gor lunch tomorrow
I was up and put together flowers for church. I also planted one bag of irises by the LO tank. At SS we visited about needs of our church. We went with Evan to subway for a sandwich after church. Naps in the home place. Then I got up and made about 10 flower arrangements. We left with Evan to get the Rav in Ames. So fun to hear Evan and Denny visit as we traveled to Ames. I defiantly love the flowers that surround my life. As of now the lisies are just starting to take off. My stargazer lilies are about done blooming. I posted patio flowers of DM gardens. Alan J. had a heart attack on Friday and is in the hospital for assessment. It has been great having Evan come for the weekends. this summer.
I woke at 4:30 ... and fell back asleep until 6:30. I had arranged to head to Alicia's to rescue irises. Kinda slow on the draw, but I did get there before 8. Lots to dig up!! I went to IG after getting 2 bags of iris. At home we moved stuff from bunkhouse into the home place in preparation for Denny's surgery on Wednesday. Kinda fun to unpack and watch a couple of Hallmark movies. Evan spent the day reading and working out in IG. GREAT DAY!! At night Denny grilled burgers and we had pasta salad. time to head to our bed in the home place.
I played PB in the am/ rode in with Lynn. She dropped me off and I joined Denny getting ready for supper. I napped, fixed food and put together flowers for them. Such a nice visit!! Goodenows and Raabs. Denny fixed chicken, grilled breaded zucchini and cheesy green beans. I fixed pasta salad and lemonade and sweet tea. Susan brought an amazing fruit salad in a footed torte bowl and raspberry pie.. Mary Kay brought grape cream cheese pecan salad and yummy chocolate cookies. EVEN BETTER than the food was the time spent with good Christian friends. So very golden, the time spent together.
I went to play PB in IG until 10. Then headed to Alta to help with hanging of winter clothes, leggings, etc until 3. I headed home and Denny had supper ready to go. Love that Guy!! I am loving the plants on the patio!!

Kids left for Nepal today. I went to OGT. Deny cleaned, cleaned, cleaned downstairs. Quite the Guy!! Amazing.
