 Up WAY too early.  Lovely quiet morning for devo looking at Gail's quilt gift to us.   

Garden party at night

I picked up Lynn for SS and came home before church.  Naps and rest in afternoon.  Sherry and I went to Prairie Pedlar about 6:30.  Fun night.  My left eye is a little better. Denny's wrist still hurts, but trying to keep ahead of pain with pills.  So far the third day day has been the hardest.  Especially because his wrist was hurting.  I took 5 bouquets to PP for door prizes.  It was SO pretty there.  Good to talk too Hogues.  Lovely night.

I picked flowers and put in the cooler. I went to Lynn's to jump start the vehicle unsuccessfully.  The mowing took 2 hours.  Fast, bumpy, and not too short.  Patient is doing well, his wrist really hurts a lot.  After mowing my left eye really started to hurt.  Don't know what caused that. early to bed.  I put together 5 bouquets for Prairie Pedlar get together Sun night and one for church tomorrow.

At home

I was up and played PB from 8-10.  I stopped for groceries and curtain hooks at Doses.  Denny said he slept well last night in the living room with the curtain I hung over the window.  He said I should keep track of his progress.  I think he is doing very well.  He has moved right along with dumps.  He is taking pain meds before he needs them.  Tramiddol and 3 hours later oxycodiene.   Then 3 hours later tramadol.  Denny started doing some exercises.  I finished cutting the corn I cooked last night.  I had started a beef roast in the crock pot.  It turned out very tasty.  

Coming home

 I got up for a great breakfast after a 35fast.  Yum.  Kinda cute Denny had about the same breakfast at the hospital across the parking lot.  Mandy came about7:30.  So good to have her.  I went to an eye checkup at 10 and when I got done Denny was ready to head home.  I stopped and got a take home from Mr. Stirfry.  We stopped in IG to get his prescription for pain meds.  After we got settled I went to Study at Susan's , them I went to Rydberg's and picked 2 5 gallon buckets of sweet corn. We boiled them outside and ate the yummy crab ragoon, stuffed mushrooms and pot stickers.  SO GOOD!!!  Denny slept in the living room I put up a bed spread on the big window to block the light at night.

It's all about surgery!!

I was up for devo, fold clothes, unload dishwasher, make bunkhouse bed, deliver vases to CSA barn, load of dirty clothes in washer, fold and put away clothes, load dishwasher, unload Prius, back out RAV4, Drive Prius in machine shed, shower, shampoo, dry and get in car to head to SC Dunes surgery.  Oh, ya and keep Denny happy by avoiding hime who is having no breakfast and NO coffee.  It's 2:30 and Denny has made it so far so good.  He is headed back to bet a nerve block in his shoulder, that happens about 30 minutes before the 2 1/2 hour surgery.  We started to go to the Dunes early enough that we stopped and booked/checked into my room in the motel within walking distance of where Denny will be spending the night.  I ordered a couple iris bundles that will come in September.  

OGT

I was up and got the coop ready for lunch.  I was at OGT from 8-11.  When I came home the road grader slowed down us getting home.  There were 15 of us who got lunch in the coop and ate in the shade of the trees on picnic tables.  It was really fun to have them.  Good food, good people.  We napped/rested and at 3:30 Maren, Grace, and Elsie came to tour the repurposed buildings.  We stormed them for over an hour.  How could I not have gotten a picture of Maren and her girls.  Uffda!!After egg salad sandwiches we watched young guns and packed for surgery tomorrow.
