They were making skinny chipolatas ( or something like that) . Rainy cold day, may as well be in school. Before Awana I took some school orders to Maren S. After Awana I went to bed.

Up to water plants

Sanity and insanity ... then a quick walk outside to see what was growing. Looked at plants in fodder to see if they needed water. At school first hour student was absent. as the 6th hour student. Made slime in 7th hour. After school home for birthday party for Evan.

Rec center after school

Sanity and insanity. Slept 10-4:45. no awakenings, almost 7 hours. That's a cherry good thing. Independent living had broccoli salad and Stromboli. Doug Wheels had a stroke Friday night. Pretty shaking information. At school Missy called and wondered if I could watch the kids, She had a hair cut and Phillip needed to see a chiropractor. Sure! I took them to the pool in the rec center after I signed our tax return. Denny came later and we worked out. I ran/?? 3.5 miles on treadmill. He was on elliptical and stationary Bike. Pork roast and broccoli salad for supper. Pictures are of our meal out Saturday night ... so good. Help me out with the name Luke. .

Burlington Sunday 5 hours is do-able to drive

Man did I sleep last night! I don't think I even moved on the air bed. Donuts before church. After church at Harmony we had BLT's that Luke and Karen made at Goede State park. So nice. Both the service and the picnic. Pickup got about 15 - 15 1/2 miles per gallon on the way here. Missy texted to say 6 canoes were sold and 3 bred gilts. Praise the Lord!!! Left Middleton about 1:15. Pictures are of the bridge across the Mighty Mississippi by Luke's apartment and the lake at Geode Park. We left for home about 1:15 and got home about 7.

Saturday in Burlington

I'm not used to going to bed after 1 am, but it was so nice to visit with Luke and Karen when we got to Burlington about 11:15 last night. Luke fixed breakfast and we chilled with newspapers, computer on the big screen, and iphones. Then we ;unloaded the trailer and moved in the big sofa from the Country condo. The white leather sofa went out in the hallway until some Craig's list recipient buys it. About 10 we headed out to Harley store. Denny had forgotten his jeans and bought a replacement pair there. When he was showering he slipped and held on to the shower bar and it came off. The shelf and bar in the bedroom closet had fallen off so we went to Lowes to get fixit stuff for the closet area. Quick sandwich at JJ and then to the apartment. We walked downtown to an antique exhibit and the grocery store. Back at the apartment Luke and Denny worked on the closet. I read a book, One thousand Gifts. We had scheduled a reservation at 7, but changed it to 9 so the closet work would be all done. We walked to eat at Ponzu's Great food that they fixed right in front of us. The meal was on Denny, who lost the guessing game with Luke on the sex of the Kane and Brooks. Walking the 4-6 blocks there and back on a beautiful evening just topped off the night. Board game at home.

Friday with home school testing in SC.

Left about 8 to head to Susan's to share a ride to SC. I had 3 high school students, she had an elementary student. Ate at the food court. She dropped me off at Walmart, while she got her nails done. I bought 4 boxes of dahlia bulbs. Then to Sams. On the way home I realized I did not get the other dahlia bag at Walmart. I called, they had it, and Susan will pick it up on Wednesday. We stopped at Nadine's on the way home. I went to the shed and got some pots and dirt for the bulbs. Oh my hope Asian beetles don't join us. Missy gave me a ride to Arthur. Denny and I headed to Burlington about 6:15. Good driving... Denny did it. Missy texted to say 5 of 6 canoes were sold. UFFTA!!! Cathy emailed to say I stood her up. Forgot about our 3 pm scheduled meeting. Sorry :( Johnsons were up when we got there. Nice to talk. Nice to be there. Nice son and daughter in law. Sanity and insanity. A day at school. After school I picked up pizza for Jensens. Missy was in the middle of fixing cookie crust for Phillip's fruit pizza birthday treat. I helped cut up fruit then Anabel and I decorated Omar's pizza. I also snuck in a short nap. Denny came home and visited with the barn guy. AFter eating birthday party pizzas we went over to the folks to load up Mandy's sofa for Luke. Phillip had put his canoes up for sale and had gotten a few calls about them.
