First day of finals

Denny was up early.  I got to school about 7:15.  Went to Dose to get pirates surprise. A prodigal returns. For semester finals. Make that 2. Ind living pizza and cherry dessert. Pizza for lunch. At home chilled and waited for Demny. Home at 8. Visited and filled stockings.  One day closer to a break  Pictures of Lydia and Lyncon and Lenora - 100 years old and earning her keep at her son's home frosting cookies.

Denny was up early working on the schedule for tonight.  I took Missy her Cowboy caviar and looked for my Maurices jeans.  It is ugly Christmas sweater day at school.  The student council made breakfast for the teachers.  Three students gone.  Semester tests tomorrow.  Uffta!!   It is sunny and bright as I look out of the window at my desk.Pictures of the Water Park in Dubuque.

IEP at 4:30

I had forgotten to prepare a narration for a student led meeting so this am I got up and worked on it.  We'll see how it goes.  Denny stayed in bed until 6:45 when I went in to get him up. I baked some cookies for staff update at 3:30 and staff gift.  At school two students were absent, no make that 3.  After school we ate some snack leftovers from the concert last night.  At our staff chat we had frozen fruit slush and cookies.  We looked at final schedule.  At 4:30 I had an IEP meeting,  It went well.  Missy called and she is taking tickets for the BB game.  I went downtown for a while and then back to watch the BB game against Newell Fonda.  The girls lost and the boys lead until the third quarter, then got overrun and lost the game.  Denny worked at the bank until 9.  I made cowboy caviar,  Missy needs to take treats to school tomorrow.  Pictures from Dubuque family Christmas.

Last week of semester

We got up early enough to add my students' scores on the spreadsheet.  Thanks, Denny.  At school one student was back after spending 1 1/2 days out.  One student did not come and one student came during fourth hour. Pictures from church Christmas program.

 

SS Christmas party

Took Grands in for donuts before Sunday school.  I went down to the Children's department because Kim will not be able to be at the program tonight.  They are pretty cute.  After church Denny and I headed to Storm Lake and Wal marts.  We made it home about 3:15.  Denny helped unload nad put away and then went to the bank to work.  I started on our Christmas letter, didn't get much done.  Missy went to church for the serving committee and kids ate supper with me.  Then we rode to the program with Phillip after he got his chores done. Cute program.

Denny was up and going this am ... and all day.  He worked at the Odebolt bank this am.  This afternoon he vacuumed the sunroom.  I took down all the blue glassware, put it through the dishwasher, wiped down the shelves, and put the blue back up.  I also finished the Boxcar Children Schoolhouse mystery and started Houseboat Mystery.  Denny vacuumed downstairs, I took out the garbage and washed bedding he and Missy ordered Christmas presents online.  What a worker he is!  

Finally Friday

Denny was up early.  Pay some bills here then head to work where they are having an open house. Regular day at school, one student in ISS, two students absent, one student left after PE.  I went over to Arthur during my planning period.  Nice lunch and nice to see Duane B. after his accident.  After school I went back to Arthur.  E&A got off the bus at the bank after school.  Missy was working on TAG soup supper.  I got kids and we went looking at stores, Selections, Dose Garage sale, Dollar General, Bomgaars, Shopko.  Then to school for supper.  Denny came to school with us and then went home and paid some more bills,  Kids and I went to BB game.  We sat with Reese and Sophi, Evan played electronic game with Dayton.  Then home and we read some more chapters in School House Mystery.  Phillip was at CSA school and Brooks is hanging with Grandpa Alan for the  next two days. Missy came down at night and we counted $ and chilled.  So nice to have a daughter close by.
