Back to school

 We set up a 8:30 meeting, perhaps not a good idea after a long Thanksgiving weekend.  Now to plan B.  It seemed kind of strange to head back to school.  The carpet cleaner is coming this afternoon.  One English student came and then went to the office before the class was over.  Another student did not make to class after the Thanksgiving break.  Or he had an 11 oclock ortho appointment in Storm Lake and did not come to school before or after the appointment.  After school I headed to Storm Lake, not for an ortho appointment. Just a quick trip to get my nails done and be gone when the carpet cleaner/ salesman was coming.  Wrong ... The carpet cleaner who was suppose to come at 5:30 was still not there at 6:30 ... and would not be there for an hour ... Great ... so we ate our supper in the bedroom ...  with the kitchen table and chairs ... because we had moved most of the furniture out of the rooms ... for the second time. Well, finally he came and sometime he is leaving ... and we did purchase ... What suckers we are, but it was bed time and didn't know to get the guy out of our home.  Now, do not look at the carpets because I'm sure they will not be perfect, but  this vacuum is sure to last 30 years ... and get all the dirt out of the carpet ... and all the dust mites (with their droppings, that he told us about) out of the mattress ... and clean the upholstery ... and blow dry the motorcycle ... and buff my fingernails ... And the shampooing foam will not leave a residue ...  you name it it does it. Merry Christmas to me ... and anniversary ... and valentine's day.  Now it is after 9 and he still has to shampoo the basement.  Uffta!!   One staff was gone this am.
