Friday Truck not done ... Olympics start

Got to sit and talk to Denny before heading to work.  Maybe we can watch the Olympics tonight.  At school we had our fourth day of Iowa Assessments.  Lots of questions about student's attendance  at lunch.  I wish I had the answers.  After school did 2 sessions of T25.  Then home because the truck wasn't ready.  At home, we chilled and watched the Olympics.... quite a break of the rules to eat supper and watch TV.  But it was really cool.  Hopefully make a date for the rest of the Olympics.  The rules, of not eating while watching TV don't count when Olympics are on.  Also got our second Advoc 25 minute exercise in right after work.  I love Fridays!!

Cold weather, Chicken Enchilata Supper with Jensens

Wow! Cold again.  Set table for Red Valentines day for Jensens and Denny and I sat around it before school. The resource room heater still is not fixed, but the extra heat from portable heaters feels good.  Gave Iowa Assessments this am.  After school did T25 and then went to the rec center and biked 8 miles.  I called Missy from Doses where I got some Valentines boxes/ (cards) for kids to give.  She put the casserole in the oven.
It was nice to eat together.  Kids played while we visited about the possibility of someone moving to Arthur or Odebolt.  Phillip also showed us how he put up the pvc pipe for the germination/greenhouse. Email from Jensens to Gary and Denny. Much to pray about. Lord, may we be right in the center of your will.

2 hour late start

With the late start I spent extra time lying in bed catching up on some computer stuff.  Laurie spent the night.  I worked on an IEP before school.  With the 2 hour late start we did not give Iowa Assessments today.  It will extend until Monday of next week.  After school I skipped T25 because I had a haircut.  I stopped to get Brooks, then to get the Jeep in Odebolt where we got the oil changed.  Then to Awana.  Neither of my 2 clubbers were there.   Pictures from Bday party last night.  Anabel is talking to Uncle Luke as he wishes her happy birthday.  Her new birthday glasses and Anabel with the cake.

Denny and I headed to Odebolt before school to drop off the Jeep for an oil change.  Iowa Assessment tests were this am.   We stayed after school and did T25.  Then I drove to the court house and got my Drivers license renewed.  Denny told me I made a mistake not getting it made "The real ID"   Out of school at 2 so no dance tonight. When I got home Laurie was fingerprinting the kids.  They were having fun with ink and powder at the kitchen table.  Evan was in the sunroom with Leggos,  I went in there and took a quick nap.  We had a great meal of hamburgers, black olives, cottage cheese, soy sauce, string cheese, Gma Betty's applesauce, birthday cake, and ice cream. There went my contest points for the day.  There went my sugarless day. Panda bear theme...she was so excited!  Cute panda stuffed toy from Good will.

First day of Iowa Assessment

Denny and I visited at dining room table before heading to work.  I called and got the Jeep in for an oil change.  At school I gave IA to 2 students.  I drove down to court house, but Dr. License no open until tomorrow. Pictures from 1987: Matt's 10th birthday party had 11 kids. There played tackle football in the snow. And yes he got hangers... What a poor mom.

Donuts with Grands    They reminded me to sing on the way to church.  We started with Zippidee du da.  And ended with Oh, What a Beautiful Morning as we got to Sparkies in Arthur.  Home after church for a quick lunch.  Denny took a nap and I ordered some flower seeds.  I headed in to the rec center and swam a mile and 8 laps.  It felt wonderful.  I stopped at the church, but Kara wasn't there working on quizing.  I went home and got stuff ready to take to Susan's. I can't believe I did not take any pictures of the super Bowl party at their place. It was so nice. Bergmans, Reed, and Reese were there. Pictures from 1986....Guess what family we got pictures from at Christmas?

Thank you Jesus for the way you have blessed us. Early am. Awake at 4 rec center st 7. Ran 4 slow miles. In am worked on old pictures. Went to town with Denny.  He put on PVC pipe in the ceiling from the furnace room to the living room.  I looked at flowers to order in the afternoon. Missy was working on her class. Kids came down about 3 for hot cocoa. We fixed supper. Marinated pork chops,  mashed potatoes and roasted cabbage steaks. Grands showered and we ate in coop. Thank you Jesus.  So nice to visit.   Pictures  of Keelie and Jensen family
