Headed home

Another great am in Minnesota.  We packed and loaded bikes into the pickup. Next stop golf course where we played pickleball on tennis courts before leaving for home about 10:15.  Lots of driving for Denny,  2 gas station stops and we got home about 5:30.  Just in time to unload and go to Anabel's softball game at 7.  Good to be home.

Harley

Denny had visited with a motorcycler and he told us where to ride today.  The rest of the gang was playing golf.  We ate lunch outside at a place called Common Grounds and had a nice stop and stretch near a pretty river.   When we got home we napped and then all of us went on a pontoon ride.  So fun!!!  Nancy had a good check up from the doctor,

Paul Bunyan Trail

In bed until 8:30.   Denny and I biked to  where the others joined us to ride on the trail.  Beautiful day for a 5 person bicycle ride.  Jean met us and we ate lunch in a park.  Denny kept riding another 15 miles then he turned around.  I rode back with the 5 and we shopped a little.  They went to play golf.  I looked around and then about 2 I called Denny and rode my bike up to meet him.  We stopped at Lucky's before ride the 5 miles back to our timeshare.  We ate supper together at Gail's and played Cuube.

Breezy

Happy Birthday Bruce!!!!
Bruce had scoped out a great outdoor Lutheran church where we could play pickleball on tennis courts after the service.  There was a classic car show after the service.   It was really fun.  We got a few groceries before chilling back at Schrums place.  When Bruce got up from his nap, Denny and I biked with them.  Brad called and facetimed during the bike ride to have the Grands wish Bruce a HB.  We stopped at Commanders and then home to grill smoked pork chops with spinach salad, ramen noodle salad, party potatoes and mini birthday cup cakes.

With Grands

Beautiful morning.  I got way to early, had devotions and went back to bed.  At 7:45 Missy dropped off the Grands.  Evan and I ordered pizza for lunch on line.  We went to the fishing workshop put on by extension at Moorehead park.  There were about 60 kids learning about fishing.  I thought it was very well done.  We stayed until noon.  After getting the pizza we went to 2 garage sales in IG before heading to Holstein.  Mandy met us at the park.  We ate and then she and I reviewed information for her upcoming state boards for Nurse Practitioner until 4:30.  It was a lovely afternoon.  We both struggled with staying awake and comfortable.  We changed positions, walked around, lay on our backs on a picnic table, stood and stretched and swung our legs.  She feel better equipped for the test because we reviewed info she wasn't sure of.  It seemed to me that she knew it pretty well.  Nice afternoon.  Missy came about 2 and got the kids.  Denny worked on lighting for the motorcycle trailer when we got home.  Lord, help him get it fixed.

First farmer's market

Delmar and his mom, Kathy,  got in about midnight for airbnb.    I visited with them before they headed to  Carroll to get Cooper.  I worked on setting up the drip hoses again and picked flowers for the FM and made 6 quart jar arrangements. Nice text from Mandy about G'pa Newhouse.  I bagged brownies, pb bars and cream cheese coffee cake.   At 1:30 TP, PG, MKR, RT, JP, GA, and I were here for B S.  We started a new David Jerimiah study about ... Is this the end times?  They left and I visited a little with bnb'ers before heading to FM.  All 6 bouquets, 3 spinach, 4 asparagus, 1 celantro, and about 10 bars were sold.  I am satisfied with it.  I visited with quite a few people.  At home Denny was washing the pickup, Missy was washing her van.  She wrote an email about possible vinyl bnb door sign.  Denny washed the Pruis, I dried it off and then went to bed.
