Such a sad day... a year ago Anabel died

It was a beautiful sunrise.... I miss her so much...It is hard to remember that I and Mandy were with Denny's mom as she took her last breathe. It was like standing on hallowed ground ... to be with her as she died... Lord, keep me living a life like her life ... I am so selfish... Help me to give... accept... and love more. Pictures are from Matt and Becky's wedding... too hard to think about missing Anabel. she didn't join us because she was doing treatment for cancer... but didn't want to trouble anyone...

PD early out

I talked to Mandy on the way into town. Good to hear her voice. We get to wear jeans on early outs. :) PD practice time was on the Promethean board. I worked on it, but have so far to go to have it so I can use it ... to say nothing about being proficient. UFFTA!!! After school I headed to the farm to get Brooks and we went to get haircuts. Then to Marne S. for a home school visit. Then to Awana. Brooks went to the nursery and Missy headed to school to do some extra work. So fun to have the little guy with me. Pictures of June 2011. Home school meeting at night

I dropped Denny off at bank at 7:15. Independent living talked about measuring for clothes. 6th period English student was there and stayed. AT 3 I met with Susan and Kathy L. to talk about home school stuff. I went and did 4 quick miles on the bike at the rec center. Then to motorcycle meeting. At 6 I met Susan and ate Mexican. Then the home school meeting at the library. Denny went to Pizza Ranch with the motorcycle bunch for supper. Pictures are from home school meeting August of 2011. Nice bunch of families.

Got oil changed and tires rotated

You know you have no life when your days title includes oil change. We dropped off the Jeep in Odebolt Sunday night. I took the pick up in and got it's front tire and the Prius tire fixed at Rupps. After riding up with me and fixing the tires, they brought the pick up back to me. Pretty great about small town life. Independent Living fixed pizza burgers and mint brownies. After school we met with Cathy H. Then I went to Arthur and Denny and I went to bet Jeep. Then back to rec center... 8 miles on bike adn 3 miles on elliptical. Had Grands down for popcorn before bed time. Check email and Mandy had sent a link for registering for TRI for the cure. It had our picture on the flyer...via email. Pretty funny!! Uff ta... Three times I have written about today and two times it has gotten erased. Here goes We were lucky to have 4 little ones to take for donuts this am. Pretty fun!! We ate at Sparkies and still had time to listen to the Praise band practice. Alan was gone today. SS class went okay. After church we went to Foodpride to get some groceries. Pictures of cousins... lots of stages ... lots of ages.

Trip to Vail

Nice am. We left for Vail gun show by way of Odebolt for cash and cemetery to see if stone had been engraved and moved to the right location. It hadn't. Then to Denison and ate at McD for 4.25. At home Denny took a rest. I worked on reconciling by check book. Then at 2:45 I went to the rec center with Missy and kids. Call me iron madam. Biked 6. Ran 3. Swam 1 mile. Still got many more miles to travel. Looking forward to it. I also prepared for HS SS class. Alan is going to be gone. We're studying God's Unconditional Love. I can't comprehend how God loves us like that...and we are called to give that love to all. Lord, help me. There are so many in our world who need to see that love that remains no matter what happens. Pictures of family at Dad's funeral.
