Johnson siblings get together

Thank you, Lord, for leading and guiding us on this day.  We left about 9 and got to Lake Panorama about 10:45.  Beautiful place.   Great food.  All my kids and their families were there.  Denny's siblings and spouses and Joey and John.  Such fun times in the water.  First time 8 cousins were together.  Thank you, Lord.

Errand day

Took Denny into the bank, so I could go and get the Prius tire fixed. Stopped at Rentals, Dose, FoodPride, Shopko, and Dawn's to get a couple of teapots to arrange flowers for July 28th.  At home I hung pictures in basement.  It looks like half circle hooks will work okay.  Grands came over fto make sugar donuts and play dominoes.  When Denny came home we chilled in the yard.  Our bnbers came: Greg, Diane, and 5 year old Ann.  I took Denny to the pavement, He bike to Lakeview while I went home, made brats, finished church flowers, and then drove to meet him at the Sauk trail. We got there at the same time.  After riding into town, we stopped to see Judy, Ballard and Cody was there.  Rode back to the pickup in the dark.

Early start to the day & FM

Missy moved from one classroom to another down by the office for next year at school.  When we moved all the stuff was just piled into boxes to carry down to the new classroom.  ... Well sooner or later that needed to be sorted and put away.  That day was today.  When she asked me to help, I said my Thursdays were kinda full.  BUT the time was right.  I usually don't book anything for 5 am.  And so we worked from 5-8:30 and got lots done.  I headed to Ida Grove for my Dose garage fix.  At home baked 2 batches of rolls, and one coffee cake.  I made 16 flower bouquets.  11 sold at FM.  After I got done I had flowers left and so I put together 25 small bundles for food pantry and planned to take them in at 4.  Oh, Dear,  The food pantry was from 1-4.  Life half a dollar short, half a day gone.  When I was done at FM I went to Lakeview for SS picnic.  It is always a nice time.  Good day.  BUT after I had driven the Prius over to the CSA barn with the unsold flowers and drove the car in  to the garage ... a hissing sound was heard.  Yes, something big in the tire.  Guess I know what I am doing tomorrow morning.

Toes

The boys came over when their sisters are having their toes done.  They played well while I finished weeding and mowing and rototilled.  The 2 big one would be walking/ talking/ and carrying big sticks.  The 2 little ones would be doing the same thing, but usually in a different area.  Every so often their paths woudl cross.  I met Denny  after I dropped them off at 4.  We went to Storm Lake to get his bike and then ordered pizza and ate it at Cooks.

I baked peanut butter bars, made 2 more bunches of flowers for The Bridge CSA, cut flowers for FM, made pictures for frame that we got from the Paul family,  Jack got his newborn picture taken, I started to mow the lawn,  Grands came over to clean out the hot tub and refill, we ate angel food cake and strawberries, I fixed a swimming suit for Anabel.  Denny came home and worked on a bnb reservation, We made 12 x 5.5 ounces of pesto.  Three batches.   Denny tried to stop the hot tub leak.  We finished the bnb reservation information about 11.  The ball is in her court.  

It made my day to see that someone in Storm Lake appreciated/loved the flowers.  :)

Visiting

I baked brownies early in the am.  When Denny went to work I went out and finished weeding the lily row.  I took in a sample coffee can full of flowers to Rentals, and then went to Cherokee.  Jason was just leaving from lunch.  I got to hold / snuggle with this sweet boy while Mandy showered.  I would like a summer robe made out of the soft, soft material of Jack'e blanket.  It was great to see Siches when they stopped.   Nathan will a Senior.  I cut up veggies for Mandy and then headed home.  I picked up a swimsuit for Anabel in Holstein and some jar/vases in IG,   Denny was busy with airbnb questions when I got home.  There were several inquiries; we marvel at the interest in staying here.  After vbs Anabel came over and we put together flowers for The Bridge CSA.  She is a sweet gal, love her so. 

Sunday, fun day!!

Kinda slept in and then went out to the yard and got flowers ready for church.  We picked up Grands and had donuts before SS.  After church 3 little girls passed out 12 small bunches of flowers, it is pretty fun to see people carrying around the flowers before they go home.  We had lunch and naps then I got caught up on the blog.  Laura has a ride home from Omaha on Tuesday, so I am not making that drive.  We got cute pictures on our family group text.  So much fun to see the grands!
Jack was checked out at the hospital this am and got a great report.  Denny cleaned the floors, I worked outside, we would take breaks about every hour and sit out in the yard.
