Chilly day

I walked down to 400 and they were up.  Jason, Mandy and I played pickle ball at 8.   Denny ran after the boys riding the bike trike.  And Denny was tired!!!  Bruce came and fished.  The boys came running when he bought one.  Next the boys and parents went swimming.  We had wraps for lunch.  The boys played in the PB court with all the balls.   At night Mandy and Jason took Uber to go out to eat.  The boys stayed with us.  I had 2 lounge cushions, 2 yellow blankets and 2 pillows.  They watched Disney plus for 15 minutes before having lights out.  All asleep by 9, including me and Denny.

Cooks arrive ... Bruce get together.

 We served Bruce and friends breakfast.  Randy, Ranae, Cindy and Jim.  The morning was beautiful!!  They drove Jerry's pickup to Boca Chica, the wall and the zoo. Denny worked on the smoked pork shoulder,  I went to pick up Cooks at Harlingen.  When we got home most of the group was in the carport. Great meal: Smoked meat, pasta salad, brownies, guacamole  

Cooks arrive!!! NOPE WroNG DAY FAITH< WAY TO GO!!!!

  I couldn't sleep with a few things to do before the Cooks come in. Straightened Shed,  Salted glasses, made guacamole, swept floor and got ready for breakfast.  And when I called them ... NOPE!!! they are not coming until tomorrow.  Now that's Faith's style of life.   A day late/early a dollar short.  So instead I just chilled most of the day.  We went to Branson to tell them "Have a good Cruise!"

Girls Golf

 I played pickleball at 9 and stopped at Fay's to welcome her back to the park.  She really was glad she went to her niece's funeral.  It was about 3000 miles.  But her nieces was one of her favorites.  I started to clean / organize the refrigerator.  It was a job.  AND right when I was in the middle, Gail came and said it was time for gal's golf.  So I quickly completed and headed to Brownsville Golf center.  There were 9 of us: Gail,Bev,  Kathy M. Meg, Lou, Donna K. Kathy B, Marilyn,  We laughed a lot and both groups got birdies and so we did the birdy dance.  From golf I headed to Haley's to get my nails done.  $47 uffda!! The valentine dinner was next of the agenda.  Lovely meal and dance afterward by Kurt Russell.  Twas a fun night.  

Happy birthday Rose!!

 Sweet Rose, Have a great birthday~~~ We love you so much!!  God blessed us with your life.  

We went to a service at Tropic Trails lead by Dave, message by the Gideons.  Then we went out for breakfast at Black Bear.  We talked little during lunch.  The food was good.  Then we went to the beach from 1-4.  Home and the hot tub for me.  Denny put together a play list for the Valentine Dinner tomorrow night.  We watched the super bowl game.  It was a day.

Fun Week Dinner

 It has been a slow morning.  Denny once again made an amazing breakfast for Bruce, Nancy and me.  I went to play pickleball at 9.  We walked around the park and got the mail.  Denny is helping me understand Bill pay with  the on line bank.  I got my order from Johnny seed.  Lord, help me start seeds for the garden.  At 3:30 we are headed down to the center.  Program at 4.  Awards at 4:30. I got candy bar from first in ponytail.   Meal at 5.  Dance at 7.  Not my favorite dance.  I put some puzzle pieces together.  When dance was over I helped clean up and waited til Denny was ready to walk home.   

                                                  

Choir Practice for Nancy

 At 9 I took Nancy to choir practice.  Then I shopped/looked at the island stores,  We ate lunch at Los Tortes.  Denny was cleaning while we were gone.  So nice to come home to clean place. In the afternoon  We went to Walmart and got lots!  Denny grilled the angus hamburgers for supper.  I ordered Star gazer lilies from Breck.  Bill and Kathy came over for a visit at night.
