No kids at school today

Left for school a little early.  Time to work on grades.  Thankfully I could give them to someone to enter them on the report cards.  Worked on IEP then when I was about ready to leave school to head to Denison for an appointment I got an email telling me to contact a student's mom for IEP for Meeting next week.  UFFTA!! She has changed her phone at least 3 times and I only had the two numbers that have been discontinued.  Then note about progress monitoring... and was wanting to leave. Headed to St. Jo at 5:49,  Stopped at Shopko, but no swimming suits,  Made it to Matt and Becky's about 10.  Luke and Karen got there about the same time.  Mandy face timed us.  So thankful for the family.

One quarter of school done

Denny was up early for branch managers meeting. Student who I emailed a detention to did not make contact with me all day. Independ living fixed taco biscuits, corn casserole, chocolate chip cookies, and cut up apples. Kids could pay $1 and leave school at 3 and not stay for success.

Guess that about says it all.  I get tired of being treated ... rudely ... plus. After school I got my hair cut.   Then Awana with the store. Then put all away. Then count shares.  Denny did say that one fourth of the year is over.  Always something to praise God for. 

Go to college fair with students

Oh No!!! the Resource room still stinks.  I will probably have to buy a new microwave... room air fresheners  Something, anything to help smell go away.  My life ... a joke.  Early meeting with a teacher that did  went as well as the food that I burnt in the microwave.  UFFTA!!  I rearranged my appointment to Wednesday.  Luckily because today we are to set up the Awana store.  Hope and pray it goes okay.  Grandma Laurie came last night to learn chores for when Phillip leaves to Nepal today.  She is staying in the blue room.  Phillip left and will come home in about 2 1/2 weeks.

Cross country and take VB tickets

Another day at school.  Made a Dr. appointment.  Two students in English  That's good.  Okay ... After school, I went to XC meet and watched until 5  It was rainy and cold, but not terrible. Boys won the meet.  My camera was on panoramic and I could not get it off.   Then to school and put something in the microwave for supper.  Went up and took tickets for VB game.  About half way thru the night there was the smell of burnt popcorn.  After thinking a while I went to Resource room  and  Oh no!!   I had made the burnt smell.  I opened windows, wiped out the microwave, started fans,  sprayed room freshener ... it still stunk!! Kinda lazy day Hurray!!

Evan was not feeling good today so he didn't go with us.  Before church we had bars out by the garden and I cut flowers for the front of church.   I am enjoying the H.S. SS class.  After lunch I took a short nap.  It was nice to be in a clean apartment.  We went to prayer time at 6.    Pictures from Miss Effies


 

BC school stuff sale

Got up and wondered if there would be anything I could not live without at the BC school equipment sale. Denny fixed me breakfast of sausage YUM!! Missy and I went with the kids to BC.  I lied I did get one bistro chair for one dollar. (It is a little high for the deck table, but it should be okay for kids there.   Evan got a big pull down map for $2. Then we went to IG to run some errands.  I found an almost clear cup so I could make a lung example for Bob in Science.  Denny worked in Odebolt in am.  I came home and started a million projects ...  Nothing was getting done.  I started watering bulbs.  Doing lesson plans, thought about cleaning the  apartment,  After lunch, Denny went out to help Phillip with the feed grinder.  Anabel came down and colored while I was on the computer.  Then we went to work.  Cleaned out the closet under stairway, made Chocolate chip bars, Evan came and we cleaned together, finished watering bulbs, then after Brooks woke up we went out to the chicken coop and read 4 chapters of the Boxcar children.  Denny didn't have time to join Gary at the folks.  Denny came in and started to grill burgers, At 5:30 we headed to church with supper.  9 of us were there for the Awana meeting. I need prayer, I fail so often.  I am so thankful for the great leaders that we have.  They are so dedicated and spend so much time.  Pictures are of Gail's granddaughter, quilt, and kitchen.
