Wednesday November 30     Ben's birthday

Last Wed of month is trash day, so I took out lots of garbage.  I moved a few pieces of carpet.  Called Medicare and asked how part D increase would be billed.  Nor real sure I understood the answer to my question.  I left for Storm Lake about 11. AT SOS, I bought a pretty picture for the purple room.  Lord, please heal. I picked up Laura and at Sioux Rapids I worked on a couple of bulletin boards for Becca.  During 8th hour I helped Laura read an interactive book.  It was fun to visit Ben and Becca's home. We had Casey's pizza and I took some to church for supper.

Karen's Grandma, Peggy

Home

I worked all morning  on finishing the skirt around the navy, gray, and maroon log cabin quilt.  It is good to have it done.  After lunch I went to town to get eggs and milk.   I stopped at Elizabeth's house to return baby quilt and burp cloth.  Good to visit and fold clothes with her.  Missy had given me some opened evaporated milk.  I used it to make crockpot porkchops and grinch punch and I had Jensens over for supper.  Plus salad, rice, farm corn, yum! So nice to visit.  Thank you, Jesus for caring family.

So fun

i made 3 batchs of rolls.  Of course they got a little overdone, but should be good enough to eat. I worked on a crib sheet, and perhaps cut it a little short, but it should be good enough to sleep.  At Jensens we redid the TAG baskets.  Denny got off work a little early.  We stopped at Atlantic, but they were eating Mexican.  We were in Savannah by 8:15 with me driving all the way.  Mandy and Jason were the last to arrive.  So good to just be together and hear the banter and laughterof siblings.
Thanks you,Jesus for all the ways that you have blessed us.

It was so fun to go to Haley's game.  Then I went to Torren's guitar lesson.  Oh, for fun!!  Great to visit with M&B after Grands to bed.
TIME to do all the things I ever wanted.

Home

As Denny left Keelie did not come out of her dog house.  She seemed to not feel good and she was limping.  Her front right paw seems to hurt.  After Denny left for work, I started painting the south wall of the green bedroom in the basement.  I finished washing the outside of the egress windows and the outside of the sunroom doors.  Missy sent me a text telling me thanks for the cinnamon rolls for the tag students.  Jan sent a text thanking me for the veggies I left for her yesterday.  I am on my third day of antibotic.  Missy texted a picture of Grands with their Operation Christmas boxes.  Denny helped them choose out presents last Thursday.  I picked and cleaned salad greens.  I put planters in to root cellar.  I got tomatoes from high tunnel.  I used the spackling and put down some tile pieces,  It probably won't take because it it too cold.  Nice pix of Maynard and Anne.

Restful

I got up and read for a while, ate a cinnamon roll, and then back to bed until 8:30.  Nice quiet house.  Church at 10 and back for lunch leftovers.  At 1 Tom came to show Cooks how to clean and load woodburner.  We left for home about 2:30.  Great weekend.  Got lots checked off on the work list. :)
At home Denny washed clothes and cleaned. I washed windows and pressed a bed skirt for the gray room.  Denny worked on typing up a reference.

Full Saturday

Mandy fixed us an amazing breakfast.  They started working outside and I gave my sisters a call aabout 8:30.  Denny got lots done,   One big buried stump was removed; Jason  dug around it and Denny pryed it out with the bobcat.   Next fences and poles pulled up and pushed/dragged to burn pile, that increased immensely in size during the day.  Hauled in dirt to level off area by big tree.  Hauled dirt by chicken coop.  Pulled up 2 big volunteer trees behind the osprey row.  Great lunch by Mandy.  Her friend Bethany came to visit and see the place.  The last job was the dirtiest; Denny sawed off a big pipe coming into the basement.  Jan and John came over for another great meal about 7.  Great visit and in bed by 10.  Great day, got a lot done.
