Thursday to Madison

It was chilly outside,  I did cize and then devotions.  We went to town and got new furnace filters and a lightbulb for the refrigerator.  I packed and after study I headed to Madison.  I had thought I could perhaps stay overnight with Krauses, but it was only  7 when I went past their corner and they weren't home yet, so I kept heading east and got to Nancy's about 10.  I stopped only once for gas in Dubuque.  Good to get there and visit with Nancy before going to bed.   Nancy got the game Star Reporter on ebay.  We used to play it all the time growing up at Auntie Stella's.
