I was awakened by Rose (and her mom) about 6:30. Rose and I had a banana and then biked for 35 minutes. She got bored and so I pushed her in the stroller for the last 19 minutes. Denny fixed a great breakfast of scrambled eggs cheese and guacamole. While we were on the deck Joan W. came and visited and gave Rose a super cute quilt and blanket. She loves it. She had to take it on the ride in Bill's golf card AND as soon as we went in the kitchen sliding glass door off the deck, she put the pillow down on the kitchen floor and covered herself with the blanket and said "Ni Ni". We went to the zoo, seeing lots of animals, walking many paths, and coming home in time for naps. We went to Joe's Oyster Bar for supper with Jean and Nancy. At 8 we watched the State of the Union address. Luke is about 5 blocks away from the speech. He work took him to DC on Monday. (That's why Karen and Rose weren't torn when they got the option to stay in Brownsville for 3 more days. Hurrah!!) Lord, be with our nation.
