A couple times of PB

Up for devo.  I love the quietness of early morning for just being alive.  I played pickle ball at 8:30.  Denny went down and helped Dan and Roberta move into 402.  I got guacamole and corn casserole ready for supper.  We played pickleball again at 3.  We ate supper at Henderson's screened in Texas room.   I used street taco shells in muffin pans for tiny tacos.  We watched A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.  Nancy had recorded it.  God Citing:  What a good movie.  I just read today from Genesis 16:13 Hagar said "You are the God who sees me."  That was the quality that Fred Rogers displayed during the movie.  He "SAW" individuals.  How good it is to know a God who sees us.  The movie was an encouragement to higher life choices.  So many good teaching moments.  Lord, help me learn.  It goes against my human nature SO much.

Fishing and foggy

Denny had another early morning.  Uffda!!  They left about 6 to go fishing out in the gulf.  I chilled, drank coffee and waited for pickle ball.    Fay called and said that Jerry tested positive.  I played 18 holes of golf with him yesterday, so I plan to kinda lay low for a couple days.  Tom got his U haul loaded and Kathy and Bill left to drive it to Omaha.  I am taking cold medicine and feel pretty good.  We had dutch oven bread, ham slices, cheese on the deck.  I worked on editing the 2021 Blog, because there was a 45% off coupon I could use if I can submit it by midnight.  I called Luann this morning to find out what color book I need to order for 2021.  I also had her sent me a picture of the acknowledgment that I use in the books.  Well, I worked on it ... Denny helped me put the book on the credit card and Uffda!! I did get it done!!

A cool God citing today was when I was talking to Luann.  She said that she had gotten up early this morning.  Lois, her mom, was flying to Florida to stay with Lynn for a couple months.  Meg was flying with her Grandma and would leave Florida for college in California after a week or so.  Luann said that she had gotten up early because  she wanted to check and make sure that everything was ready for Lois and Meg to go.  Sure enough after they got to the airport Luann got the call that Lois had forgotten her purse.  Luann sent some pictures of her ID.  Uffda!!  I prayed with her that everything would turn out ok.  Later that morning Luann texted me later and said she got a phone call saying that they had let Lois on the plane.  Thank you Jesus!!

AM golf

Up for devo and to put my golf clubs in my new golf bag from church garage sale.  Sure, on the way to the golf course I split my coffee on my new golf bag and new White shoes.  I had a great morning playing golf with Jean, Jerry and Norm.  I played better than normal.  We stopped after 18 holes.   When we got home I joined Denny at the pool.  Then we walked around the park.  Fay and Jerry were boiling the crabs they caught yesterday.  Kay and Kathy joined Fay and me to pick the meat out for crab bisque tomorrow night.   I invited Reals and Bruce over for frozen pizza.  The rest of the family was headed to SPI to watch a musical.  When Kathy and Bill got here I was telling them about Tom moving to Omaha with the U haul.  A God citing:  While we were telling them about Tom moving to Omaha and how Tom needing to get the U haul to Omaha,  Bill turned to Kathy and said "We could drive the truck to Omaha and see our family".  So Bill and Kathy walked down to talk to Tom and Luann.  Yes!!  Tom and Luann appreciated and accepted the offer.  What a kind generous gift to neighbors in our 4 Season family.  Bill will drive the truck and Kathy will follow driving their vehicle.  Tom's daughter will have friends in Omaha to help  unload the U haul.  Kathy and Bill came back and told us about the plans as we ate pizza.  What kind, generous friends!!!  Nice ending to a  nice, fun day in the Valley.

Crabbing early in the morning.

I slept terrible with a cold and thoughts about getting up early for crabbing.  It was a fun early morning.  They didn't get lots of crabs, but the water was low.  Bruce H. brought his bike out to where we were and Gail and I drove home around 10.  Ladies had lunch today at Red Lobster. I rode with Jean and Nancy.  Denny and I both took naps then walked 2 times around the park.  We stopped at Schrums and Arlen fixed us supper.  At home we watched Wyatt Earp.  Missy called and I was so good to talk to her.   God Citing:  Missy was telling us all about her trip.  They had flown back to K from P.  She was really wondering how they would get back home from the airport.  Would it take 2 taxis? Or could they squeeze in one with all their luggage, etc.  God to the rescue.  They saw an administrator/friend from school.  He was heading back to C. Homes and they could ride with him.  Thank you, Jesus!!  Earlier this year that guy's family had stayed in their home while they were in the States.  Biblical truth: You reap what you sow.

Chilly, but onward we go...

I played pickle ball at 9 and 3:) It was cold and so most of the day was spent indoors.  At night I went to play pony tail.  I texted Strucks to see about the possibility of renting lot 400.  Lord, guide through out the year.

Church at Christ Church of the Valley

It was windy and cold ... so no pickleball before church.  After church Brad went with us to Walmart to get fishing equipment for Denny.  Naps when we got home.  It is still windy and cold.  I made potato soup. and went to play pool at 5:30.  Trivia at 7.  UFFDA!!  Now that's something I am bad at. I really don't know why I even play... Denny and Bruce stayed back to watch football

Happy New Year 2022!!!!

DAB and coffee on the windy deck by the rasaca.  I went to play pickleball at 8 until almost 11.  Lots of fun players.  At 12 there was a polar lunge, but the weather wasn't too polar.  Denny and I went to the beach, it was wonderful!!  Warm, sunny, and lots of families to watch.  Denny read Steve K's book.  Now that was something remarkable!!!  He's not really a reader.  We came home about 5, I played pickleball with Gail, +2 Bruce.  It was so fun!!  the fireworks by the resaca was fun.  Denny grilled polish sausage and we had it with salads after the fireworks.  Nancy, Jean, Arlan, Bruce and Brad and Joyce.  I was tired after a late midnight yesterday.
