When Matt and Becky got up and left for Mankato, I moved into their room. At 7 the grands got up and we had a tea party. It was the plan to go to the water park at 8 and then to Room A for breakfast about 9. Kids were dressed in suits and waiting by the door. Oh, no!!! Torren got his finger in the door. The door bolt was blocking the door from closing completely, but he go his finger squished in the other side... It hurt so bad. I felt awful. The swimming was canceled as we tried to soothe a boy in pain. Tylenol helped after a bit and we went down for Breakfast of omelets and sweet rolls in Room A. About 9, Gail got the pinata out. There were about 17 grands to take a swing at the pinata. We had a new system with Jason and Todd on ladders and holding the rope with the pinata. Praise the Lord no one got hit by the stick. After many swings and much candy (finally) we moved back into room A. Santa Luke made his appearance. Luke drew the card to be Santa. Anabel knew it was Luke, but still didn't want to sit on his lap. After the grands got their presents we had the card deck take away. I came home with the coveted covered bowls. Then to the waterpark for a couple hours. Then to rest for an hour. At 3 we headed to the golf course where the wedding took place. Our grands played pretty well there. The wedding started at 4. Nice ceremony, then a short time at the club house while people went through the receiving line. Next to the Aquarium for the reception, dinner and dancing. Then to a bowling alley. So much fun!! Finally Matt walked me back to the motel. Way too late of a night for me, But so much fun.
Pictures are of the the new couple. Pinata time... Kane and I making the first swing and Jason manning the ladder and rope. Also Torren's hurt finger!! UFFTA!!!
