Morning at Martin's Access

Pretty place to stay .. Main cabin at Martin's Access.  Up about 7.  Tyler ate at 5; we watched the boys while Mandy and Jason got ready for the trail run.   I walked to the race when Tyler woke about 9:45.  Jan and John helped give out water during the race.  After everything was put away we walked back to the cabin and visited and after lunch.  Nice morning.  It is such a pretty place.  Nice to be there. 

Cherokee bound

Nice slow am.  The parts to the pickup came and Denny went out to the machine shed and started working on removing rust.  Grinding hammering, then spraying outside and letting it dry while he came in and looked for replacement running boards on the internet.  I played with flowers for Clay CF all am.  I put together 6 petite arrangements.  Oh, my what am I doing??  About 5 we headed to Cherokee.  Nice night, Mandy had fixed an amazing lasagne supper.

I got up for AM mix this am.  It is really tough on my body when I try to participate when I haven't done anything for a couple days.  Uffta!!!  Out of shape.  I went to walk with Laura and Isabelle to the rec center.  Beautiful morning.  there are no direct sidewalks to the rec center so it makes it hard for blind person with dog to navigate.  I went to Dose garage sale, then to Trend due for a perm and haircut from Hannah R.  At home Denny was working on getting the running board off the shotgun side of pickup. I went to IG and picked up Laura and Jen for Bible study at Teresa P's.  About 6 Beth came over to talk about Awana, then we went and picked flowers.  They turned out pretty.  After she left we had guacamole on patio.

Awana training

No exercise for me this am.  We had coffee on patio, such a beautiful morning.  I started to bake brownies and creamy cucumbers for Awana training.  Denny went to work on our rusty truck.  At 3 he grilled pork burgers for the Awana training night.  About 4 I went out to pick flowers.  There were 29 adults and 6-8 kids for supper.  Beth downloaded on facebook 303 pictures from wedding.

Tuesday September 3

AM mix early in the morning.    I went to OGT from 7-9.  At 9 we were packing grapes at Old Town. It was a beautiful morning.  I headed to Atlantic to play pickle ball once .  We left for Maryville to watch Haley run XC.  On the way we stopped at the Mennonite general store.  Haley did a great job.  I think she finished about 17th.  They gave medals to 20 places.  I got home about10.

Great day ... Great son ... So happy 33 ( Oh, make that 36)  years ago when Luke was born.  Happy birthday, Luke!!!

It was a slow day for us.  Church and SS.  Then salad out on the deck.  It was warm and beautiful and a great place to talk.  We washed the car and went on a 2 mile walk.  Slow night watching Heartland.
