HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON!! Sure great to spend time with you at South Padre Island. Sometimes life is as easy as falling off a bicycle built for two. Now for my day: Hurrah I made it through today. Hurrah Long 4 day weekend ahead of me. Matt S. called and said they gave me credit for reaching 5 goals. YEA!!Hurrah only 1 quarter of school left for this year. BOO!! Computer is still not fixed. He says it has viruses. Maybe we let our virus protection slip Mandy was fixing pancakes in the morning. Denny headed to Arthur early and didn't take advantage of the offer. I didn't either, but Mandy was watching the grands today while Missy subbed and I bet they ate pancakes. I called BC so they could fix the setting for Jen's IEP. YEA they did and I could submit it. Parent teacher conferences from 4 to 7:30 again. Put my failing students on hold.(Try not to think about them), so I had an okay day. The weather was great so I called Denny to have us visit out on the deck. Great to sit out and enjoy the night. Missy and Phillip visited with us until 8:30 Then they headed out to the Country Condo to watch ISU give Jason a great birthday present.

Wednesday March 14

Up and around to East Johnsons before school. I took Carlie to Food Pride. After school I had a haircut. Denny had a full day and was still at bank when I got to Arthur. He had to make a phone call before Awana to talk over some situations. I helped with 3 and 4th grade girls. During game time a girl fell and hurt her wrist. Her mom took her to ER and it was broken. They put a cast on. Lord, help the break to heal well. Missy subbed today and Laura watched the kids. Cousin pictures from the reception are pretty fun.

Tuesday March 13

Long day. Quick visit at Dad's The computer at home froze up. Mandy took it to Denison Computer MD. Hopefully, it can get fixed. We're kinda lost with out it. One of my students was gone to a funeral today. Still feel swamped with things to do. School out at 2:30. I got a sub sandwich and sat by Odebolt Creek before heading to school for parent teacher conferences from 4 to 7:30 . Then to library for Home school meeting. What a great bunch of encouraging women. Denny is over a the Country Condo. Missy subbed today and Mandy hopefully got some sleep. Luke called. He might not have to work Friday. Karen had her first billed time client. They spent last weekend sorting and pitching and deciding what to do with stuff from her apartment and what to pitch from his apartment to make room for their things. At the reception Arlan had a great time playing with Gavin and Jason. Haley and Anabel had a good time, too.

Monday March 12

Tried to make weight by juice and not eating today. Stopped at Dad's. He has a urology appointment at 1:45 today. Two students with F's. Oh my. Mrs. Spetman back :) Lorraine set up job shadows for Thursday for careers class. Ran 3 on the treadmill, then walked one. Made 4 for the 5 goals. The one weight goal I was .2 pounds over the weight I listed as my goal. I"m going to call and talk to Matt. I think it should count as making the goal. Denny made 3 fo his 5 goals. At 6 I went back to school adn tried to organize the confusion. Mandy texted and said her 7 to 7 last night went okay. Denny went home after the weigh in adn made orange chicken for us for supper. When I got home he moved the table in by the tv and we ate and watched Mandy's "The Bacholor". We have no life. But it was a treat to have supper all ready and eat it in a special place. Plus he texted Mandy with comments like "I think Ben and Courtney deserve each other." Pictures are of friends at Burlington reception. Thanks for coming friends.

Sunday March 11

Sprung clocks ahead. Short night. No donut takers this am. I set up for lemonade between SS and church. Guess I'll bring the dispenser home. There was speculation that it might not be able to be washed and sanitized properly. After church there was a quarterly business meeting. At home I got all the checks entered into Centerpoint. I figured mileage for home school meetings. Time for a quick 10 minute nap. Anabel and I went to shower at Maren's for baby Bergman. Then to prayer meeting. Finally home. Straight to bed to type this up and watch the end of the cowboy netflick movie (Lonesome Dove) at 7:30. I'm really tired and saddened that I won't make weight tomorrow. The treats at Maren's were really good and I hadn't had anything to eat today. The pictures are of family at Burlington reception. Thanks for coming. Love ya so much.

It almost made Howard cry when Mandy told him that Karen had 5 yellow roses in her bouquet for the wedding to honor the grandparents that were no longer with us. There was a table set up with wedding pictures of parents, grandparents and siblings. Very nice. Now for my Saturday: Worked on To Kill a Mockingbird in bed. About 9 I headed to nail lady Mandy. We worked on Gelish. Passion Pink. New color and idea for me, Don't think it quite fits my profile. I won't be surprised if it chips and flakes off soon. So nice to spend time at the country condo. Quick Hi to Howard. Then home to finish To Kill and reconcile my check book. Mandy texted and I got up from the picnic table in the front yard ... the 6 papers I had with the bank history flew across the front yard. Man, did I have to hurry to get the papers. The wind was really blowing. LOL It had been great doing that mundane job out in the warm weather. Denny went to Holstein for Republican County convention. Mandy asked it I wanted to come over and repot some plants. When I got there she had me clean out a freezer that she found unplugged last week. She plugged it in and the food was frozen as I put it in garbage bags for the dumpster. We took her car home and Denny started the super Norwex car wash on the car. I sat outside and typed blogs into this site. I have been really behind. Now I need to put pictures with the typed in blogs. I grilled great Bagenstos brats too long. They were good, but very well done. We 3 ate brats, salad and broccoli for supper then watched the DVD Jensens watched last night, Hugo.n

Friday March 9

Teacher work day. Stayed in bed until 6:30. That's really late for me. Denny was even up. Went to Dad's before heading to IG. At school I sent grades to tech person. At 10:30 I had air in Prius checked before I headed to SC for a meeting with home school families at Panera. YUM Then to a thrift store that had fill a bag for $4. Got a purse, 4 sweaters, 2 blouses, 7 pastel floral table runner/curtains, Then to Target for a baby present, Awana store items, and school supplies, folders and a pencil sharpener. At Menards I got salt and pepper grinders for Denny, Then Goodwill, bread store and home. I stopped at the rec center and ran 4 miles on the treadmill. I called Denny and asked if he wanted to go to coop after work. When I got home I headed there to start a fire... but Denny and Jensens were there. Missy and Phillip had the same idea that I did. At night we started to watch some cowboy western before we fell asleep. In college Luke made a plywood desk. This winter he remade it into a kitchen work area. He didn't want me to take a picture of the back side... so simply ignore. Sorry Luke.
