Heading to Iowa

Left 4 seasons at 8:30,  got a whataburger sandwich and coffee, so we are driving north by 8:45.   We passed thru Fort Worth about 5:15.   The expressway worked well!  Actually it seemed longer to go thru Austin that D/FW.  The sandwiches ;and crackers and cheese that Kathy sent along really was wonderful.  We drove to Norman,  Ok. filled with gas, and stayed in a Days Inn along I35.  It was about dark 8:30 when we were at the motel.  Denny had driven 12 hours and I was awake the whole time, so we were ready to hit the sack.
