It doesn't get any better than playing pickleball with my daughter. YES!!! So fun. We went into IG at 7:30 and played until 9:15 when I dropped Missy off at Laura's and I did a few errands. We dropped off flowers at Carol's and headed home. Missy heading into IG around 11 to visit with Remer, get a hair cut and have Anabel take her drier's permit test!!! YES!! she passed. At home I made a red, white and blue vase for church. We put together food for tonight when L&K are going to spend the night. I made a collage for Tom Webb's military service. At 5 we went to Joel's graduation party. Then home to visit with Luke's as they spent the night. Lincoln slept in G'pa's closet. The mamma at has EIGHT babies that are staying under our deck and hissing and snarling when we come outside. We'd love to tame a couple of them .... We'll see.

Friendship Thoughts: 1. If a friendship lasts longer than 7 years Physiologists say it will last a lifetime 2.Never mind losing a friend because a real one can never be lost. 3. Friendship is not about who you spend the most time with, it's about who you have the best time with. 4. A strong friendship doesn't need daily conversation and doesn't always need togetherness. 5. Best friends are people who make your problem their problem, just so you don't have to go through is alone. 6. A true friend is someone who sees pain in your eyes while everyone else believes the smile one your face.
I am so blessed by God to have great friends.

We ate breakfast on the chilly patio and sang Happy Anniversary to Missy and Phillip for 18 years and 364 days. Denny used a blow torch to light the candles on a windy day. The culture service was changed from outdoors at a park to the Summit church because of the weather. Nice service. Great message from Phillip. At home we went full feed on leftovers and napped and napped and napped. AND then I started catching up on this blog. UffdA!! Open House and IG Parade
Denny was up and headed into wipe off the "72. I followed him, BUT it was raining and the car show was called off. We went home and back into town for the parade. I was with the candy pickeruppers for a while then rode the trailer as water bottles were handed out. At home we had a quick get ready for the open house for the Jensens. The weather was perfect. It rained until 10. Then it turned sunny and comfortable. There were about 100 people who came to visit. We ate smoked pork, party potatoes, and asparagus around 7:30, inviting Buehlers and Jake and Katelynn L. to stay also. Josh M. stopped to visit. Evan gave a sweet synopsis of his 2 week seminar at Taylor. It was so good to hear from him. Everyone was beat. I'm so thankful that Cooks were here to share in this time with Jensens and the open house and the Lemans. Them bringing their RV worked so well. Thank you Lord.

At cherokee
I played pickleball for about and hour and then came home to take Anabel and Brooks up to Cherokee to spend time with Jack and Tyler. We stopped at Christina's, New Leaf and I dropped them off at the VBS pickup while I went to change my prius for Mandy's car with car seats for the kids. Before we ate at the school, Jack and Tyler wanted to go to the museum with the cousins. after eating we headed to Paulina beach, but the car was low on gas, so we turned around, filled at Casey's and went to the pool. Tyler was tired and fell asleep on my lap. At home we got ready for Jack's Tball. Denny and Phillip joined us there. After a thrilling close (not) game we went back to Cook's for Casey's pizza. Missy is spending the afternoon with 7 college friends at Panora Lake.
