August 9, Denny went to work this am with plans to leave work at 12. Instead it was 1:50 when he got home because he had customers
he had to meet with. I spent the morning cutting corn off the cob to freeze and cleaning the kitchen. Missy came down and I got out the machine to sew hems in Phillips dress pants. Anabel colored so nicely on the floor in our living room. Then she cut out the 6 hearts that she colored and wrote I love you. … so sweet. Phillip was working to take the tin off the CSA barn. Denny and I had a hard time deciding how to travel to the bed and breakfast. Finally we decided to take the Prius and go through Storm Lake to return some dresses and get barn windows at Menards in Spencer. We left at 2:45, then Denny realized he didn’t have his sunglasses so we went back to get them and left again at 3. I was so happy Sugar Bowl took the dresses back without a question. Denny drove and got coffee while I made the exchange. Then to Menards where we got 5 barn windows and 8 – 1”x4” x6’ boards. Destination tonight is Craig’s near Burr Oak. We arrived about 9 and sat and visited until 11. So good just to catch up on family happenings.
