Kinda slept in until 7:00. We all slept pretty well, Becky was on the mattress that Jason brought to Mandy's apartment. Karen slept on her look alike sofa. Missy and I shared Mandy's bed. At 8:30 we had showered and headed to Wash pert for coffee. The next destination was Bicycle Village to register for the Tri. Pretty morning walking around. When we stopped at Youslings John was having a garage sale. They will be remodeling a bathroom and the kitchen in the near future. Joey is in Nebraska doing corn detasseling. We stopped at an ARC store, then to Mandy's apartment for a bite to eat. At 1 we went to a bridal dress store and had a wonderful time watching Mandy try on wedding dresses. I think I liked the very first one she tried on the best, but there were so many pretty dresses. Becky, Missy, Karen, Nicole and I just sat and oohed and aahhed. We made an appointment at a second Bridal store for 4 pm. More oohs and aahhs. While we waited for for 4 pm to come, we had a cool drink, played Apples to Apples, and had a google search for the evening restaurant of our choice. We picked the one that Missy had come up with (so she got the meal free on us) and Jason met us to eat at Shells and Sauce. Our reservation was made late so we were happy to sit at an outside table. Great weather until the wind started to pick up. The umbrella almost blew away and right as we finished, it started to downpour. The umbrella dress that I was wearing was not colorfast and my yellow top got navy color on it At home we packed for Tri tomorrow. After trying to decide what to do I think Becky is taking Karen to the airport after they have been at the tri for a short time. Fun
picture memories.
