Good is the thought for the First day of the school year

It was different to get ready for school today.  Lots of rain coming down at the farm and in IG.  Phillip has a group of youth coming to the farm to help, have a retreat, stay over night, and go canoeing on Saturday.  Rolls in lounge from UBI.  Doug Clough spoke in am.  We had an AEA speaker on close reading for professional development. Lots of students have schedule changes.   I stayed and got a little more done until about 7.  I had fixed corn on the cob for youth group last night.  We ate out at CSA with them.  I cut the corn off the cob before going to bed.
