Saturday August 9

Got up and had devotions outside of the coffee area at Thunderbird.  Beautiful morning.  Denny spent most of the morning fixing my helmet, (found the screw in the back of the motorcycle pack).  Denny ate both of the 2 pizza pieces from BC pizza.   We left to go to Musesing.  About a 2 1/2 hour drive.   We ate lunch at Johnny Dogs then went on H58.  Hurricane highway (Michigan's tail of the Dragon)  We rode a long ways and couldn't really see Lake Superior from the road.  We drove through Grand Marais and I found out what a pastie  was (rhymes with nasty, not tasty).  Back in St. Ignace we walked the streets, (boardwalks).  We ended up sitting on a bench and watching the 10 pm fireworks.  They were really good.  Then we headed again for BC pizza, because I was hungry for pizza and didn't get my leftover piece from last night.  :)  Looked up churches, Tunnel of trees,
