Up for devotions. Nancy suggested that we could take a trolley across Lake Michigan if time was running out at the end of our trip to Mackinac Island. Now that's a fun thought. We'll see where the time takes us. Nancy left for a meeting and we made some reservations for Wed, and Thurs night. Our destination tonight was Marinette, Wisconsin. The Lauerman house bed and breakfast. It took us a while to get out of Madison. We headed to Fon du lac and then north. We stopped at a park for a cheese and crackers lunch and a time for gas. Other that that we just rode the Harley through beautiful rural dairy farms with huge barns, some were in use, many were not. The bed and breakfast where we are staying is amazing!! A 1910 house and we are in the second floor room with a balcony. We are splurging tonight. We sat on the deck overlooking the Menominee River, used the 2 person Jacuzzi tub and ate at a magnificent restaurant Berg's landing. We had a great steak, hash browns covered with sour cream and cheddar cheese and a wonderful salad, like Olive Garden's. The worst part about the night was trying to find the other B&B owned by the innkeeper. Streets with detours and night lights and a river to cross did not help our situation, so we missed time on our beautiful balcony, by riding around looking for the Victorian Inn. When we finally stopped out search and sat out on our balcony the night lights on the river were gorgeous, What a beautiful place to stay. How spoiled I am. Thank you Jesus.
