Rest

Well, I guess it wasn't really a rest day.  I didn't get a nap taken, maybe it was the 2 cups of coffee at church, but usually that doesn't keep me awake ... even thru the service. :(  Not good.   Donuts for 2 grands, and Brooks really did look grand in his new suit!!!  After church Denny did laundry and make a bike rack for the back of the pickup.  About 6 we drove to east of Wall Lake and biked the Sauk trail to Breda ... 17.8 ... or 18 miles.   That's the longest I have ever biked.  On the way back we stopped at Carnavan and undid any calories burned by sharing a "Loaded Fries with cheese, bacon and ranch".  So good!!  Home to meet newest bnb'er, Zach.  He and Marty are staying for 2 weeks.

     Last night we celebrated Phillip's birthday 3 days early.   It looks like Laurie had a hard time keeping her eyes open.    Alan and Laurie usually don't get to be with Phillip on his birthday and have birthday fruit pizza.   We looked at Nepal pictures until 10 when Missy said enough.  Time to get to bed.
