Ran 3 this am ... not very fast ... Surprise surprise. Gail and Bruce were going out to walk so I joined them for another 2 miles. Denny had his coffee so he was ready for the day. Bruce fixed sausage and waffles. We headed to Rio Grand Gorge Bridge on Harley. Wow what a span over a huge drop. &Then we drove around the enchanted circle. Stopped at town of Red River for coffee. Stopped at Eagles nest and ate lunch that Connie had packed. As we drove around Angel Fire we were thankful Bruce and Gail had their time share in Taos, not Angel Fire. AF seemed to be a ski town with not too many activities to do. When back to Taos we regrouped and toured Pueblo Taos. Very interesting. This village has been inhabited continuiously for over 1000 years. We took the tour, I bought a pretty copper/turquoise bracelet. Denny and I walked to the inn. At 6 we headed back to Wyndham to cut up vegetables for supper. Gail and Bruce were golfing. When they got home we ate grilled chicken, veg. Yum! I checked out Lincoln movie. Another great day in New Mexico
For over 50 years my mom, Bernice Newhouse, kept a journal, usually in spiral notebooks with the year written on the outside. Mom died in April 2008. In December 2008 my son, Luke, tried to get me into the 21st century with a blog site. This is kind of in remembrance of Mom and an update for my kids of my day to day life. Nothing exciting or noteworthy...I'm just thankful to God for all He has given me. What a great Lord we have.
