White water rafting

I got up and rode 12 miles on Gail's bike this am. No bike path, just in and out of streets that had a 3 foot line that marked a bike trail. About 7:30 Connie and Jerry came to say good by. They were heading home to check on Aggie and the fix-it guy for their windows. We drove to the visitor center south of Taos where the rafting company began their rides. There were 4 of us and the guide in the raft and it was a great time. So pretty, We didn't have to work too hard, he did most of the steering. No cameras allowed, unless you weren't afraid to get them wet. It was beautiful. About half way through we got out and swam in the Rio Grand. It was about a 4-5 hour ride. They had water, juice, cookies, salsa and chips, and watermelon for us as they loaded up the rafts and kayaks. After we got back to Taos, Gail and I shopped and the guys had a sandwich and green peppers. It was great to look at all the stuff. We didn't really buy anything, just looked at all the spensive things. Bruce took a nap and after shopping I went out and talked to Denny while he cleaned up the Harley. Then he loaded it. We ate supper at the restaurant our raft guide suggested... Orlando. Very good. We watched the DVD Defiance. It is so unbelievable ... incomprehensible how the Jews were treated. I watched Lincoln after that.
