Home and headed to Cherokee

I stayed in bed until 7:30.  As I came into the kitchen Denny said he had an accident while driving the lawn mower.  The mower got tangled up in the wooden swing set and as Denny drove away, the  swing hooked on the motor of the mower and the mower pulled the swing set support down on his head.  Wow!! He called neighbor Joel to help lift off 6"x 6" beam, took a picture, showered and cleaned up, and finished mowing at our place then and went to CCF to mow there.  Uffta!!  Looked awful, but this am after his shower it looks like edges of cut are together, so I don't think Denny feels he should go to the doctor.  We'll see.  When our airbnb PA came home for lunch she looked at his head and said she thought it would be good to have someone check it out.  So we did, we went to the PA in IG that she is doing a clinical with.  We had a 2:40 appointment.  No stitches or anything, but professional exam and a tetanus shot.  We headed to Carroll from there to get the Prius.  The body shop was done fixing it.  About 7 we headed north to Martin's access park north of Cherokee for the trail run.  Luke, Karen, and Rose, Pete, Carol and Mark, Megan and Jordan and Cooks were already there grilling brats.  Great meal.  Great visit after supper. Great cabin to stay in.  Just fun!!!  And the grands really enjoyed playing in the cabinet.

Who takes a selfie and doesn't smile??  Guess I can understand why.  Ouch!!
