Left for SC with Autism conference ladies at 6:30 am. I went to Floyd monument at 8:30 to check it out for a possible home school field trip. (That was also where Matt's "Run St.Joe" relay across Iowa team was leaving from to start the longest relay in history the world or something remarkable like that.) After the conference we came home throuogh Holstein and I got a Casey's pizza for supper. Denny and I met Matt at the Rec center where Kiawanas were serving spaghetti to relay runners. Goldsmiths were visiting with Mark who is on Matt's team. At home we watched a netflicks.
For over 50 years my mom, Bernice Newhouse, kept a journal, usually in spiral notebooks with the year written on the outside. Mom died in April 2008. In December 2008 my son, Luke, tried to get me into the 21st century with a blog site. This is kind of in remembrance of Mom and an update for my kids of my day to day life. Nothing exciting or noteworthy...I'm just thankful to God for all He has given me. What a great Lord we have.
